Hello my back is badly sunburnt and I was wondering if anybody has any tips on getting to sleep regardless (preferbaly comfertbly) short of sleep drugs. Panadol and 'aftersun lotion' helps I know but anything else?

This is gonna sound rally disgusting but put yogurt on it.
Leave it on for a couple of hours, take a cold shower, repeat this once, maybe twice, and it will soothe it for now, AND the sunburn will be all gone tomorrow.
I learned this when I was in Turkey. I have really fair skin (I'm a read head) and I got a very bad sunburn - I couldn't even put a shirt on without it hurting. One of the locals told me about this, and the next morning it was all gone.
Now i always have yogurt in the house during summer time.

fold up a sheet to fit the size or your body and take a spray bottle and wet the sheet a little it works for me and vingar will get rid of the pain and help keep the brown

take a cold shower, not a hot one. you want to cool the skin not heat it up more. Also it may sound gross but vinegar will take the sting away, but you will smell like a salad all night long

Take a hot shower before you go to bed - it will kill you but afterwards you should feel better
