the other night in my basketball game i tripped and i rele hurt my ankle......my mom doesnt believe me and ive been keeping a brace on it what else shoulod i do to stop the pain??? the game was on thurs.8 feb. 2007

I had my belly button pierced over 6 months ago and it's been fine but now it occasionally bleeds. It's when I push the skin back on the ring that causes a small amount of blood to appear. It's not infected but it doesn't seem to have healed yet either. Is it supposed to be healed and why is it bleeding?

I have had plenty of nose bleeds in my life but this one was way diff.
first of all I ddin't do anyhting to cause it and it was so bad I was gagging up blood. I had like 5-6 major clots before I got it to stop.
what I was wanting to know was could this be something related to high blood pressure or exercise after not getting to much exercise and just all of a sudden over exserting the body. I'm just confused. I don't want to think there is something wrong with me. could it be from being on the comp. too much?
plz if any one knows what this could be from plz let me know.

and to add, My back has never felt this much ache and pain in a long time infact last time I did have pains it was much more minor and lasted far less time then it is now.

So whats the best cure to relieving back problems...its been killin me I hoping for it to feel better tommorow... this pain has been going on in my back for the last few days...what do you think caused it?
(cause Im not one known to have a history of back problems)
PS, Im no old man! So whats the cause doc?

My thumb and around that area have been hurting, also my wraist has too. My mom just said I probably sprained it and that there's noting the ER can do for it. I was wondering if it can be sprained its not really swollen, I cant really tell if its brusing and it hurts really bad like a 8 on a scale from 1-10. When I put weight on it, it also hurts. Can it be sprained? Should I go to the doctor?

I had my belly button pierced in September of 2006 in a random, spur of the moment idea and today it started to bleed really badly while i was cleaning it. I took it out, stopped the bleeding and put a band-aid on it. I'm guessing it's infected, I'm just wondering how well it will heal now that I've taken it out? Also, should I see a doctor about it's possible infection or just wait it out for a while?

My pinkie finger has been numb from the tip of the finger to the point where my wrist meets my hand. It's been numb since yesterday when I was pounding on a locker because it would'nt open. I have a knot near my spine next to my right kidney.it is about the size of a quarter. I have had it for a few weeks now but today it has been hurting. Sharp pains that come and go. I had an epidural steriod injection 12 days ago to treat low back pain/sciatica that I have had for several years. Dr. hit a nerve during the procedure, and to make a long story short, I have continually gotten worse ever since. I have been in ER twice, no results-keep saying time will help. I went to my PCP and she gave me a shot of Medrol and a 21 pill dose pack of the same. (as a side note, I have been prescribed continually stronger pain medicine-7.5 hydrocodone at first, now I am on 7.5 Percocet, and it does not do anything for the pain) The shot of Medrol seemed to help for about a day, then I went back to the same horrible pain that I was in. The Medrol pills do not seem to be doing anything. Now, to add to things, beginning last night, I have started to have extremely bad joint pain in my knees and ankles, where I cannot even walk. I don't know where to turn, If anyone has any advise, I would appreciate it. I have followed up with PMD with no results. Help if you can!!

I'm turning 25 this weekend and because I am turning 25, I will no longer be on my dad's insurance plan that he has with his work. My job's insurance policy doesn't kick in for several months. I have a pre-existing condition and most insurance companies require you to be on their plans for up to 6 months before they'll recognize my condition. The only problem is, my condition is acting up and by the time I go to get help from a doctor for it, I will be off my dad's plan so I am wondering if it would be likely to stay with the insurance agency under my own name so I wouldn't have to go through the waiting period?

i'm 14, 140, and 5'4. my blood pressure is 100/70. or 80. i'm cold all the time and tend to freeze during the winter. my hands and feet turn blue or purple and are always cold. do i have low blood pressure? and if so is that a bad thing? thanks.

Ok well about 3 years ago I jumped off a swing and landed on my side of my ankle. It really hurt but I never went to the doctor. Dont ask why. It really hurt for about 1 year but I nevered bothered to go to the doctor, which now I see that that was a big mistake. Sometimes it just hurts at random times and whenever I hurt it alittle it really kills. Sometimes it doesn't hurt. Is there anything I can do to stabalize it till my mom comes back from her trip? She's coming back in 2 weeks. Should I just Ace wrap it? What do u believe that it is? What do u believe the doctor will do? Can he do anything? Right now it doesn't hurt that bad but it will hurt sooner or later again. How would he see if it is really hurt? I just recently had a knee injury and had 2 get an MRI and x-ray. My knee is really better now! But should I not get x-rays because they would be 2 many at a time? Im confused! What would u do?

earlier today during school i fell from about maybe 4 to 5 foot, well i landed pretty hard on my knee, i can stil walk and everything, nothing serious. but there is no bruise just some swelling and it still has some pain

right now i am iceing it then wrapping it in an ace bandage for the night. does that sound ok?
