It can take a little longer for some people to heal, use tea tree oil, i did and it keeps it clean and helps it heal.

I had the same problem with my bellly button AND my nose rings. First off, if someone pierced it with a gun, then that is why it never healed...... Gotta do piercings the right way and if they didn't do it the right way than this is why. Assuming they DID do it the right way, it means you body is simply not tolerating it....... Sorry. I know ow frustrating it can be.... I held on to 7 other piercings for years before I finally realied they weren't healing.......
Try tea tree oil. It is a natural aniseptic.... Also do not use Alcohol and peroxide together. They are more acostic than you think and will gently and painlessly eat your skin away until the piercing just slides right out. Trust me. Now I have a scar where my piercing basically came out cause my skin was so soft..... since I used alcohol AND peroxide........
Good Luck.
The tea tree oil is natural and you can also use a mixtureof a teaspoon of epsom salt to 2 cups of water as a saline cleanser. Most gentle cleanser ever..... Epson can be found for dollars over at any walgreens orCVS
Good Luck

yeah swimming messes with it, just use your dial and salt stuff it should heal back to normal in a couple days. I've had my bellybutton piercing about a year, and I just got a monroe last month. The face piercing had the most swelling and still is the most hassle while healing. Oh yeah different stages of healing happen differently, like first day no swelling, just a little pink. Then swollen or not depending on your body, then the white discharge and crust. I had possible tiny bits of bleeding like second and third month. Just pay attention to color change and skin condition. If it looks healthy, it probably is. If it starts to look funny, it's time for a doctor.

It should be healed by now, at least that's what they said when I got mine done. They said it would heal within 6 months. If it doesn't feel infected then I say your body just needs a little more time than others'. I got mine done 5 months ago and today it started to bleed really badly, I took it out and am going to let the hole heal. My body doesn't do well with healing, so I'm thinking that yours will just take time. But I suggest if it gets to this point that you definitely take it out, I was stupid to leave it in as long as I did.

Serve's you right for defacing your body!
Oh, and see a doctor. The area around the belly button is very sensitive. If blood vessels there get damaged, its hard to stop them from bleeding.

Hmm...-Sounds like trouble. Better get an M.D. to look at it before it DOES become infected.
