Ok well about 3 years ago I jumped off a swing and landed on my side of my ankle. It really hurt but I never went to the doctor. Dont ask why. It really hurt for about 1 year but I nevered bothered to go to the doctor, which now I see that that was a big mistake. Sometimes it just hurts at random times and whenever I hurt it alittle it really kills. Sometimes it doesn't hurt. Is there anything I can do to stabalize it till my mom comes back from her trip? She's coming back in 2 weeks. Should I just Ace wrap it? What do u believe that it is? What do u believe the doctor will do? Can he do anything? Right now it doesn't hurt that bad but it will hurt sooner or later again. How would he see if it is really hurt? I just recently had a knee injury and had 2 get an MRI and x-ray. My knee is really better now! But should I not get x-rays because they would be 2 many at a time? Im confused! What would u do?

I don't think you should take part in gym class until your mother comes home, and hopefully go to the doctor, have the ankle x-rayed or what ever the doctor says. You could do more damage to it. It will depend on what the x-ray shows as to what will be done. Sounds like you do have your problems. So sorry. An ace bandage might help. It might stabilize it a little, in case you have a tenency to twist it somehow.
Good Luck.

Well you may of had a hairline fracture in your ankle and it healed wrong. I would let your mother know the situation and then go from there. I work in X-ray and you would be suprised what you could see. As for know if there is no swelling present when it really bothers you, try applying heat to it. That should help with the pain some. Also if it healed really bad then there is a possibilty you might need ankle surgery.

You obviously caused some damage if it still bothers you, an x-ray would help to see if something is broken or you have a bone chip. Never let something like this go unchecked, it just causes you problems in the future, as you are now finding out.

Sounds like you might've sprained it really bad. Try alternating heat and cold on it and if it still bothers you, go have it looked at. It's very possible that you caused some ligament damage or tendon damage and the only thing that can really help with that is soaking it in warm water and alternating the ice.
