i did not like them at all. when i came off them i had headaches like crazy and i felt terrible. but different people tolerate meds differently. i got off that stuff quickly, but if you are hurt enough they may do you just fine. you can build a tolerance to them kind of quick and then they don't respond as well. some people take more and end up addicted. be careful, and drink lots of fluids like water. not to scare you but thats from my experience

If you had questions about this narcotic why didn't you ask your doctor? Your pharmacist should be able to help you with information about possible side effects and drug to drug interactions. They are highly addictive as with all narcotics so it would probably be a good idea to talk to a licensed health professional with any and all questions before you start them:)

This is a very potent and potentially very addictive opiate-i.e. morphine like drug. You don't say why you were given it. It may be appropriate but in the old nomenclature they are most definitely classified as DDAs (Dangerous Drugs Act).

Well i agree with just about everyones answer, If your not use to taking a precription pain killer,Iwould recommend to be stationary for awhile(like close to a bed) but it should knock out the pain.

They are very high-powered. If you are just switching up to that level of pain control, be prepared to do a lot of sleeping until your body adjusts.
