I had several stitches put in on my right calf today, the wound was oval shaped and hard to close, the hospital really did not do a great job covering it with bandages, they came off almost immediately. I have to walk around and i have to do some things, i am just scared the stitches will pop, or break open, is there a big chance of that?

I'm sick and I have severe pain in both my eyes. I also have a "scratchy" throat and sore body all over. i dont mind being sore or caughing what really bothers me is my eyes!!! Sometimes they feel hot and in the top back it feels as if somebody is trying to dig them out. Have you ever had this problem? What could it be? Or What do you recommend?

Quite regularly, my upper back aches. Sometimes I notice that my back starts to ache after I eat a meal, but I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence. Although it can affect both sides, it tends to ache on the upper left side. Sometimes I'll also get arm ache, in the arm that is on the same side as the pain. Less frequently, I experience a little bit of tingling, but it normally doesn't last very long. My chest does not normally feel tight. I know I had anxiety, which was partially caused by candida overgrowth in my system. Although I've been trying to get the candida under control for the past 5 months, sometimes I will get the symptoms again. Generally, my muscles feel quite tired. When I lightly press on them, they hurt. All of these symptoms also seem to be more frequent a week before I get my period. I'm 25 years old and a student, so I spend a lot of my time hunched over a laptop and need to watch my posture. Any feedback on possible causes and treatment is appreciated!

My son and I were on an airboard flying down this long hill...about the last 20 ft of the slope, we hit a "natural ramp" of ground that swooped us up into the air and dropped us down about 12 in. harder than I've ever landed on my tailbone before. I wasn't sitting flat on my butt...my legs were up around his waist so our feet wouldn't keep us from going down the hill. When I landed I thudded hard down on my tailbone. I hollered out and would have started crying had we not been in public, but adrenaline got me up, and my son. We walked up the hill.....if it was broken ...seems like I woudn't have been able to do that.?...I remarked it would be SORE tommorow and then stood and meandered around for 3 hours at the top of the hill watching him sled ...and FREEZING ..while he had fun . Now that I'm sitting a little and walking a little it is getting SORE.Worst is getting out of the car, or sitting down. Do I possibly have a cracked tailbone? What can I do for the pain? (burning, sore&swelled

I have been waking up numerous times many nights for a couple of months now with my right arm & hand very numb (so numb I can't even move my hand) on & off for the last couple of months and it's really disturbing my sleep & driving me crazy!
When I wake they are so badly numb (from shoulder to finger tips) that I have to get up for awhile and massage and shake them to get the blood flowing again so I can go back to sleep. The Doctors offer no advice (act like they don't believe me or that it is normal). Any idea why this is happening and how I can stop it?
Thanks

I had my gallbladder removed 9 days ago. I had staples to close the incisions it was laposopric. There is a redness around where the sptaples go in and they itch. There is no pain. Is it normal to have a little redness around that area with staples? I have no fever or anything.

I've been having some bad and some minor headaches for more than two weeks. Sometimes i take medicine for headaches, and i can still feel the pain, and i don't want to keep taking pills, so i stopped for a while, but they're not going away. Any suggestions to how i can fix this or how i can know what the cause of it is? I still go to school(high school) but i don't think its really from school work. I'm trying to avoid going to the doctors, because i don't have a doctor yet. It feels like pressure being applied to my head, and sometimes i can feel it through my face, like the nose area as well. I wear glasses, so my mom is suggesting that maybe there's something wrong with my eyes that's making me have headaches. I'm hoping it's not something serious. My mom did say that i fell out of a shopping cart when i was younger..but could that pain be comming out now? (and i fell on my head, is what she said).

I am looking at medicare supplement plans. Most plans say they cover generic drugs. The copay for one plan for a 30 day supply of a generic drug is $10. Suppose the generic drug is one that Wal-mart charges $4 for a 30 day supply. What do you pay; $4 or $10?

It actually feels like it's in the bit connecting my nasel passages and my throat. It's really annoying me- how do I get it out?!?!

The other day I was on the phone with my son when I noticed that I had lost circulation in my middle finger. I looked at my finger and it was completely devoid of blood flow. The nail bed was white from lack of blood. My entire hand was tinglinging. It scared me because the blood flow did not quickly come back. I had to basically message it until the blood flow returned. What could cause this? And should I be worried?

I've always been really short (REALLY short), so when I was younger, I often had to sit in chairs with my legs folded underneath me, on top of my feet, to reach tables and desks and things. Now I'm 14, more than tall enough to reach the table (4'10"), and still doing this. It makes my feet fall asleep all the time (sometimes very painful), often hurts my knees, and drives my mother CRAZY!! I think it might actually contribute to my back pain as well. Can anyone help me out here?
