My son and I were on an airboard flying down this long hill...about the last 20 ft of the slope, we hit a "natural ramp" of ground that swooped us up into the air and dropped us down about 12 in. harder than I've ever landed on my tailbone before. I wasn't sitting flat on my butt...my legs were up around his waist so our feet wouldn't keep us from going down the hill. When I landed I thudded hard down on my tailbone. I hollered out and would have started crying had we not been in public, but adrenaline got me up, and my son. We walked up the hill.....if it was broken ...seems like I woudn't have been able to do that.?...I remarked it would be SORE tommorow and then stood and meandered around for 3 hours at the top of the hill watching him sled ...and FREEZING ..while he had fun . Now that I'm sitting a little and walking a little it is getting SORE.Worst is getting out of the car, or sitting down. Do I possibly have a cracked tailbone? What can I do for the pain?
