Have you done anything out of the ordinary? Have you been working out more then usual? Sounds like you may have bursitis or some kind of inflamation in your hip area. You should see a doctor this may get worse if you don't rest , ice on and off and maybe some therapy.
Good luck sounds painful.
I am an avid runner and have had bursitis and other injuries ....ouch! You need to see a doc and have some R&R

Sounds like you have sciatica. This can occur due to lumbar injury, degenerative discs or swelling of the tissue surrounding the sciatic nerve (ie. a severe impact to the butt cheek from a fall can cause bruising and swelling).
Does not sound like Restless Leg Syndrome. That is more like you are trying to sleep but your legs feel like they are on caffeine. You feel like you need to move them and stretch them...alllll night long.

That could be a pinched nerve in your back. It could be a sign of a degenerate disease like MS or Lupus, but I am sure its much less serious and just a nerve thing. See a doctor. He/she might have you try some physical therapy to loosen you up a bit to try and release it. Good luck.

Just a quick thought it sounds like it is your sciatic nerve. It would do you well to do some research regarding that. Your symptoms are very similar to what I went through after a car accident.

Sounds like a pinched nerve to me. I had that nerve pinched everytime I was pregnant and it hurt right where you say and like you say. So maybe you got a pinched nerve somehow.
