earlier today during school i fell from about maybe 4 to 5 foot, well i landed pretty hard on my knee, i can stil walk and everything, nothing serious. but there is no bruise just some swelling and it still has some pain

right now i am iceing it then wrapping it in an ace bandage for the night. does that sound ok?

or is there something else i should do.

If you have insurance, go to the doctor and have it x-rayed to look for any cracks or dislocations.

Keep it wrapped and put ice on it. Try to stay off of it as much as possible.

Take the ace bandage off your knee. You could really cause yourself some damage by keeping that bandage on. Just stay off your feet for a day or so as much as you can. If you still have problems then see a doctor.

I wouldn't leave the bandage on at night. I usually do ice for 20 minutes, then heat thereafter. Works for me.

The bandage can reduce circulation and slow recovery - also, if you start to swell, it can be worse.

shouldnt really bandage for bed hun just rest your leg on a pillow to help with the swelling. bandage by day it can cause swelling of a night hun

try going to the doctors and see what happend mayb the sweeling might not be from out side but from inside like blood cloge or sumthing like u feel pretty high up so some thing has to happen

eyy dont worry bout it bout it, its gonna go away just ice and then take the ice when you go to sleep but keep in mind that when you wake up and move your knee its going to hurt, cause you dont move around much during the nite so keep that in mind and when you do wake up move slowly until your knee 'warms up' you kno

sounds good -- keep it up - try to rest it and keep off of it -- if the pain is worse or doesn't go away go to the doctor...

follow MICE- move, ice, compress, elevate (Some people say its RICE (R-rest) but I read somewhere that you should move
