anti-inflammitories due to acid reflux.

My acid relux is worse when I take anti-inflammitories. I am on Nexium.

If you ask your doctor he can give you a shot of cortizone in your knee. lasts for like 6 months at a time.

Have you been to an orthpedic doctor...if not that is step number one. If you are on medictions for the reflux, you should be able to take antiinfllamatories also. The only real treatments avail for this are antiinflamatories and surgery. sounds like it is time for a serious consult with an orthodedist. I tried all the medications ( under a doctor's care) , but finally reached the point where surgery was necessary. Good luck.

Try using ice on your knee not heat it will help with the inflammation also try getting a knee brace as well that will help support your knee when you have to do alot of walking / standing to do. As far as meds make sure you eat before you take med. that helps. A Doctor can give you something for the reflux. Good luck!!

See an internist. There are different kinds of arthritis which may have different treatments. Orthopedic surgeons like to cut. Your age makes a difference too.

take anti-inflamatory along with prevacid or something like that.

acupuncturists do miracles and no pain...just a pinch you should give it a try.......unless you are afraid of needles
