General Health Care - January 2007

What could be causing this? It feels a bit like somethings stuck in my throat, and it feels more muscular than like a sore throat. Had it for about 2 days now.

My mother's temperature with an ear thermometer shows over 100. Mine shows 96.somthing. A regular thermometer shows us both as normal temp. But every time with an ear thermometer it shows over 100 for my mother.. (over explained and long question)

i use diff remedies like cucmbers and stuff but those are temporary.I would like a good cream. Its weird becausew I sleep a good 8 to 10 hours but I have like tripple eyebags sometimes. they arent that dark and i put cream on them day and night. (specifically for under your eyes) is there any ones that work on you?

How many hours do you sleep? & does it affect you?
I sleep for less than 6 hours a night. I do it because I have a husband, kids, pets, garden & house, & studies that all need attention. I sometimes get a bit tired towards midnight but all morning, day & night I am very awake & full of energy. Is this normal? What about you?

I was injured on the job. I work for a small company and the owner is a nutjob. She would just soon fire somebody who file's workers comp. I injured my neck really bad, however I work every day. I do however take off maybe once every two weeks to visit a doctor. I have always been a salaried employee. She just changed me to hourly and will be docking my pay while visiting the doctor. I am so irritated... I hurt so bad every day when I leave. I'm not too sure what to do. The people I work for are not familiar with the laws and employee's rights. Can they lower my pay while on worker's comp? Can they deduct for my doctor's visits? Help!!!

I broke a bone in my hand and didn't go to the doctor. It's been healed now for about 2 to 3 months now. My question is, does Arthritis only effect the joint in your body or can a bone have or get Arthritis. In case you are wondering, the bone I broke was ring finger on my right hand but further down the hand right below the nuckle.

hi ,i m a squash player ,i play 2 to 3 times a week but i get extrem pains in my knees due to lack of knee fluid ,people adviced me to stop this game but i can t stop.is there any secret treatment that could at least ease that pain.or should i just ignore the pain for a while and keep on playing as some people told that it will heal it self (i don t really believe that )

The week before Christmas I fell: my legs slipped from under me and I went straight down on my backside before I had a chance to hold onto something. It was sore but I got up and walked on immediately without any trouble. However when sitting down for a while or driving I get pain in my coccyx (had to look that up, tailbone) and much pain in the left pelvic bone. The last one makes walking quite painful and it doesn't seem to really go away with resting. Could this be because of my fall and what can I do, could something be wrong with the pelvic bone?
