Could be anything from a swollen gland to a lymph node. Watch it for a few days, and see if it grows, or changes in any way. If it does than I would seek a doctors opinion, if it doesn't change in any way, or hurt, I wouldn't worry about it too much!! Hope all is well!!

I recommend going to see your GP it could be many things and needs investigation or if it is an infected gland or lymph node treatment. I dont think Yahoo has a qualified Doctor and even if they did they couldn't diagnose it over the net!
Never take it for granted that a painless lump is OK.

You should see a doctor right away - there is a good chance it's something completly harmless - i have a similar lump on my jaw which is just an inflamed hair folical from an ingrowing hair - yours could be that or somethign similar too, but there is also a chance it could be something more serious - see a doctor for sure.

If you have a sore throat, runny nose or cough...it's probably your lymph nodes which swell due to infection in your body. It's your body's defense system going to work. If you don't have any symptoms other than the swelling, I would wait a few days to see if it goes away before rushing to the doctor or for the other symptoms to appear. You may realize it's just a cold in a few days. If it doesn't go away by then, I would see a doctor. Try not to play with it, you may help to keep it swollen.

could be anything... usually with lumps and bumps you should get a doctor to check it out. If you can move it under your finger than it should be something easy for a doctor to check out and remove if needed.

I have one on my arm below my elbow. The doctor told me it was a cyst. Go to the doctor because some of them could be cancerous. Im not a doctor though but get it checked out.

Sounds like a blocked salivary gland.
All lumps should be reported to a GP tho just to be safe.
