My Mom is experiencing severe stabbing pain in the ankles and feet along with swelling. Her hands are swollen, too. She is in pain more towards the end of the day. Anyone can relate?

a lot of times if you've been on your feet all day and there is an underlying cause it will cause your feet and ankles to swell. generally where there's swelling there's a good bit of pain.
I would recommend getting her to a doctor to rule anything serious out and see if they have any suggestions. but to answer your question, i can relate to an extent.
with my ankle chewed up like it is now by the end of the day i just want to cut the stupid thing off. getting really fed up with and trying to except the fact that it's never going to heal and i'm not going to be able to do the things i used to do (and miss dearly).
