Glucosamine and Knox Gelatin

http://www.puritan.com/ Get the free catalouge of Puritans, they have a good selection of Glucosamine and Joint remedies. Also you can go to Wal Mart (if you have Wal Mart where you live) and get this same stuff.

Good Luck.

.You can easily cure this problem by doing the following yogic exercises everyday and you will see the remarkable change in you..
1. Arathamathesendrasan (reduces the folds on the side and relaxes the knee joints)
2. bhujangasan ( reduces the fat & creases on the back and good for spine)
3. halasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases good for all limbs & joints)
4. dhanurasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases, good for all limbs & joints)
5. sarvangasan ( controls the whole body to perfection & all joints including the neck)
6. mathsyasan ( increases the chest & reduces the stomach)
7. nauli kriya ( the best for stomach)
8. mayurasan ( very difficult but best for the belly )
9. bhastrika pranayanam ( breathing exercise, very best and must as this controls BP, prevent lung diseases, increases the brain power, will never get cough or cold and controls your anger and other violent emotions, brings in crimson complextion to the face etc, etc)
10. sevasan. ( This is the last exercise and this removes all the stress and strain of all the above exercises )

Do all these exercises in the morning before breakfast and after nature calls because both your stomach & intestines should be empty while you do this . Do it regularly for 1 month with confidence and see the magic.

Slippery elm powder. Its a demulcent, meaning it lubricates the inside of the body, particularly the joints. Add 1&1/2 tsp to a bowl of oatmeal daily. Give it about a week to begin feling the effects. Won't promise the pain will go away but it should definitly lessen over time. You should be able to find at any natural grocer, if not check online. You have to get the powder though, its available in bark too but its difficult to eat that way.

You have not given your age.
There is no medicine in this world to treat your problem. You will have to be your own doctor, take a decision and i will help you.
If you don't have good hunger first treat it by minimising the no. or qty of eatings. If you are constipated then treat it with green vegitables and salads. Before you start your treatment you should have good hunger and clear bowels daily.
Now you should learn an art of preparing Pure Ghee from curds from any Indian( by getting butter out from curds and then putting it on burner in a pan till it gives out a pleasant smell, use preferably fresh bufellow milk for curds).
The Pure Ghee is the best lubricant. You should eat your 1/4th meal with pure ghee. If used more it lessens hunger, hence you should keep a record of ghee qty and meal qty. Initially take both in less qty and go on increasing slowly.
If you can't get pure ghee then try fresh cocoanut, with every meal. It too needs good hunger to digest. So remember "Hunger is the best medicine and the best doctor too".
It will need 3 to 6 months at least. You can try Acupuncture instead of painkillers. Avoid stress over knees till they repair, if you want to play lifelong.
