Is your nose "stuffy" too? Might be allergies.
My allergies started with a sore throat, caused by nasal drainage. As my nose was not running I didn't know until a pharmacist told me to try sudafed.
If your nose is stuffy, your loss of appetite could be attributed to your reduced ability to smell. Odor and appetite are directly related.
See a doc.

You need to see your doctor. There are several diseases that start exactly like that. Systemic Lupus is one.
