We think dad has cancer, but he wont tell us anything.

He said he has a tumour and that he is due to have operation, and thats it. he wont tell us anything else.

He wont tell mum anything either part from the tumour and the operation.
we are not sure where the tumour is etc.

he is 70 years old
am really really upset. he wont tell us anything
am scared we'll lose him
we dont want to lose him

Hi, how are we all?

Last night I did a random blood test as I suffer from PCOS and also a strong family history of type 2. Just wondering if this is normal? I am not over weight and I am not too sure if this reading has something to do with me having PCOS.

I just had the first shot of the cervical cancer vaccine. and since having it, i have been feeling sluggish, fatigued and no strength or energy. Is this a temporary side effect? what are the side effects. its not major, it just that i have noticed im not as energised as i was before i had the injection

I went to the doctor because I have this growth on my jaw, which is pale brown and wasn't there when I was younger, and now resembles a pail mole (I have something similar on my back, and chin) but I looked at the rest of my body and found an suspicious mole behind my ear. I checked online and read about lymphoma and the like, and the swollen node is on the same side, but on my neck. It hasn't gone down, and when I went to the county hospital (for the mole, and an abcess) she seemingly ignored anything to do with the lymph node. I was examined for 3 mins. She brought back a dermatologist who said it looked normal but that she'd like to biospy it anyway. I asked about the swollen gland, and she didn't say anything to me, but she said to the derm "I think its viral" but never seemed concerned with it.

all symptoms- swollen node, ear-jaw-muscle-head pain. abcess, and just feeling weak.

meds- antibiotics & Depo

idk what to do, everyone says i'm a hypochondriac.

I feel like ever since I contracted the virus I will never be able to have sex again, or even meet anyone that would want to be with me, people just dont understand herpes and even though we can educate them, they would rather just move on to the next guy. Im a really good looking guy, educated, very intelligent with a lot of talents and goals but I doubt that any of this will help me. Before I got the virus, I already had trouble finding girls because I am extremely shy, now that I am dirty in the eyes of society I find it impossible. I would hate to pass on this virus to anybody else, because I know how much it sucks, so I would like to meet a girl with the virus. I know there are sites out there for this stuff, but they can be pretty expensive, are there any other ways, maybe a free site, anything will help.

I have shared several cigarettes with her and have accidentally drank after her. I just found out that her live-in boyfriend has hepitus C. Am I at risk? i am not shaving my 8 yrolds head!! rid does not work, does mayo work overnight, or vinager. or are thier other ways to kill them at home.and after thier gone,how do i keep them to stay away and not come back?? some people say skin so soft or pink lotion makes thier hair too slippery to stay attached! there has to be some stuff you can leave in your hair so she doesn't get them from kids at school!! and her school doesn't send kids home if they have it they just have to take a note home to thier parents,shouldn't they send all kids in the class home with notes saying a child in her class has them you might want to check your kids hair. how can i make them strickter on getting rid of this problem!! other schools here send the kid home and won't let them back till thier gone, but her school thinks it's no biggie and so all the kids are infested!! i'm trying to switch schools, but w/my job it's not possible at this time to pick her up, and i don't know anyone who would. help!!

My doctor told me the side effects are mostly local but I've read the drug handbook and it says the effects are adrenal suppression and bone demineralization which are after all systemic effects. Can someone please enlighten me on this?

I've been searching for alternative drugs online and i found CROMOLYN SODIUM. It says it's not as effective as steroids but I wanna give it a try. Is it really inferior to steroids?

I have dark skin below my eyes that don't go away. I've read it's one of the signs of allergic rhinitis. How can I make it go away?

I just found out my friend has Lupus cancer, which I understand a little about...
but I don't really know, can it kill you??
There is no cure, is there?
Is it painful?
What am I supposed to expect...I haven't seen her in a week and a few days...& I won't for another 4 days...
I don't know how she'll be feeling or what I should do to help her...or how much pain she'll be in?
