Why don't you find out?

This is an ominous question.

But I'll lay it on the line for you. If you commit suicide, your family will get nothing b/c insurances do not want to pay unless they HAVE to, so they WILL require some type of investigation to rule out suicide.

That being said; your family will have lots of heart ache and I'm not clear on why you would ask such a question, only that I hope that you aren't considering anything such as this...if so; please get help...

the only money they will get is your insurance... Now if you are the sole provider (the father) then they will fall back on SS.. They could give you a better answer on the $$

They don't get anything unless you have life insurance, veteran's benefits, or a pension.
