Sure, there's prescriptoin & otc meds for it.
it doesnt mean it wont come back, or tht you'll never get one again.they are very common. hormonal changes, antibiodics and wearing tight or wet clothing.
yeast also feeds on sugar,so the more you feed it the more difficult it is to clear up.

A yeast infection can be cured with anti fungal medication from your doctor like fluconazole (brand name is Diflucan).
A woman can also buy some Monistat cream which is available over the counter.
