I am 27,female and I am a sufferer of acne from years.Lately,I have more and more breakouts,pus pimples and I am worried a lot.I took Azithromicin,from yesterday I am taking Doxicicline..Locally I am applying Zynerit,which contains erythromicin and there's no change..Please,give me serious and mature advice..What I can do,when I am already disappointed from the dermatologist I used to frequented..Thanks!

I have a large birthmark on my shoulder the size of 2 ten ps and it is really dark brown in colour.I never where strappy tops coz im so scared of what ppl say and when ppl are looking at me i feel that there looking at my birthmark coz they can see it in the corner of their eye when talking to me.I went to a dermatologist to get it lightened but he said it is in an awquad place and i could get keloud scars(i think thats what there called).Would dermablend cover this as the birthmark is so dark?

There is this 52 year old woman that we call 'Crazy Terry' who walks around our small town in summer in a bathing suit all the time and picks cans out of the garbage. Last week my friends and i were partying and they dared me to have sex with her under a bridge for $30. The condom broke on her and i didnt notice for about 10 minutes. I dont think she is a prostitute anymore just a drifter. My doctor did an insulin level test and said my level was too high. He called it hyperinsulinemia. He said it is a precursor to diabetes and recommended I start metformin (glucophage) to help the insulin level come back down to normal range. And also the medicine would help the insulin work better. I queston using a diabetes medicine if I do not have diabetes. He said it was to prevent it from getting worse. Does anyone have additional information?

I do not really understand diabetes and how insulin works. Info on that would be helpful as well.

My mother is 64 years old. she had a clot in her brain 6 months ago. the right part of her body can't be moved. Now she is treated with a phesical treatment and she is getting better, they apply electrical treatment on her body as well.I'm asking; is electricity good for her?

I Want to know how painfull the Pectus Excavatum repair surgery is! If you know and have had it done or know of people who have! What type of pain do you go through! I have a mild case of eczema. When they are in water for more then 2 minutes they get really dry. As of now I put Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion on them and use Cotton Gloves. But even that is starting not to work. The skin around my finger nails is peeling away. My nails grow like crazy and if I don't cut them they drive me crazy. Its all due to the eczema. It's been about a year since I've had itchy hands. I use to itch them so bad that they would bleed and get blisters. I've also been getting the eczema on my feet in the past year. That really bothers me. I always took my socks off at bed time, but now I have to wear socks 24/7 my feel are so bad, they are always dried out. I just don't know what to do. I just moved to Okinawa Japan (my husband is in the Air Force). For those of you who don't know, its an Island. So I'll be in the water a lot and I'm worried that my hands and feet will get worse. HELP!!!!

my neighbor doesn't have medical insurance so she has to go to the free clinic. she had thyroid cancer and both thyroids removed now. she found a lump where she had the cancer,they did a cat scan and said "we found something in your sinuses and where you had cancer and also something on you right lung".the clinic is making her wait to see a specialist because of no insurance,they keep telling her it all takes time to get in to the specialist.mean while she is a nervous wreck. so she talked to the lady incharge of the clinic and got no where. my question is who can she contact to get some answers to get the results of what they found, they told her a specalist has to read the cat scan to say what they found. she has been waiting almost 3 weeks. if it was me i'd sure want to know ASAP. PLEASE help
