Although yeast infection (known by the names of Candida, Monilia or Thrush) is in fact a very common condition, (as three out of four women develop it at some point in their lifetimes), it is little discussed. Most people regard candida infection as a ‘on the surface’ problem that should be treated with creams and antibiotics whereas few are aware of its potentially risky complications. So going to doctors it's a bad idea not because it makes you feel uncomfortable, it's because they will prescribe antibiotics until something works, it could take even 1 year to treat a yeast infection like this.
To effectively overcome candida infection, you need to be aware of the real cause of yeast infection and be able to identify its symptoms. You need to know how to self-test and diagnose your candida condition, learn about the dietary principals needed to maintain a candida free environment and about the complimentary treatments that will help you battle against the negative effects and complications of your yeast infection.
Read "Yeast Infection No More" BY Linda Allen ( electronic format @ http://www.candidayeastnomore.com) It's about how to naturally and permanently eliminate your yeast infection without drugs, creams or any kind of gimmicks.

One fun night, Mandy and Fred does it, but Mandy has an infection. Marla wants to do Fred orally directly afterwards. Then Marla wants to do me the same way. But then Marie wants me to do her vaginally. Any bets that Marie gets a yeast infection from me (from Marla, from Fred, from Mandy)? I bet she does. I bet she will want to make sure that I clean up real good first.
Still, from what I gather from ladies of close acquaintance, the infection is mostly a home-grown thing because of imbalances, perhaps from taking antibiotics lately which killed off not only some bad bugs in your GI tract but the good ones too. They would have kept the yeast in check but aren't there now (but some active culture yogart will help). Still, you can mechanically transmit them. So be careful at the swinging parties (besides, there are a lot of nastier stuff out there than yeast). Good luck.

It isn't an STD if that's what you are asking. It is an overgrowth of yeast which naturally occurs in a womans body. If you are the performer, I do believe you can get "thrush" which is the oral version of yeast infection. Treat with otc remedies, eat lots of yogurt and try to include Lactinex BD-refrigerated, ask the pharmacist, it is non-prescription but expensive and stored behind the counter.

Oral sex changes the pH balance of the vagina and surrounding tissue. You can try to curb the yeast infection by cleaning afterward.
Yeast infections are usually caused by medications, non-cotton clothing, wearing a wet bathing suit too long, or your partner could have one in and around his testicles passing it on to you. If it is a persistent problem consult your doc, there could be an underlying factor.

Yes. Men carry a lot of the bacteria that causes or triggers yeast infections in thier saliva. Women don't as much, if you're into that. Really though, it is only a problem for women who are sensitive down there.

Yes you can indeed! You can get it both IN YOUR MOUTH and on the genitalia.....
Babies often get oral yeast infections from passing through the birth canal with an open mouth.

yes- be careful who you sleep with.If a man had oralsex with a woman with a yeast infection and then had oral sex with you don't you think it could be passed on?The infection thrives in warm damp places (like a mouth)
