When given advice, follow it exactly!
Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Water purifies your organs, blood and your skin, from the inside out. If you get something in your eye, you flush with water, or if you get anything dirty, you flush with water. Do not put any poison in your body for the next three weeks! That would be cola drinks, butter, mayonnaise or lard.
Eat raw veggies with dip if you like. Eat low fat meat, absolutely no bacon or pork. Do not eat candy or sugar.
When using products directly for your acne, choose something with zinc in it. Zinc is a healer and if your acne is prone to getting red and sore, the zinc will act against the sensitivity as well.
Take it one step at a time, don't overdue the cleansing of your face, this is a steady process. You want to prevent the acne itself, the inflamation of the skin, not harm the skin itself. Remember, when treated properly, your body is made to heal itself, your skin has a different reaction to the way life treats it.
What you do to the inside reflects outwardly. Skin, the largest organ of the body, needs, fresh air, exercise and proper nutrition.
Get started right now, let us know how beautiful you look and feel in three weeks! Don't forget your vitamins. Take the gentle, inside out cure and be easy with the ointments. Don't smoke!
Don't stress.
If you follow these directions explicitly and I mean do not deviate at all, your body cannot do anything but heal itself!

Many factors can cause acne breakouts such as stress, lack of sleep, anxiety, depression and combined with a poor eating habit and smoking can do this to your skin. Break down your day's activities on a piece of paper and then look back on it and see what areas your most prone for stress and anxiety. Change your eating habits to more healthy eating. Stay away from chocolate the best you can. Chocolate can produce more acne breakouts. Drink plenty of water or Propel Water that has nutrients in it. Get more exercise, exercise can benefit more than we know of. Have you ever taken Tetracycline? Some people take that for their cysts and pimples. Ask your family doctor and go get a second opinion from another dermatologist. Good luck to you and I hope things work out better for you!

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

It sounds like cystic acne. Im not exactly sure how it works, but it is basically caused by a pustule forming under the skin. The best thing to do is leave it alone and try not to cause it to drain (poke it with a needle), otherwise you may develop deep scarring from them. Your best bet is to see a dermatologist and have them take a look, they may prescribe you an antibiotic or topical to help combat it, or they can inject it and bring the swelling down.

I am 25 and have the same re-occuring problem as you....tired everything topical and many 'medications'. Meds SOMETIMES work, but dont buy into too much topical treatments as overtime they will only build up resistance, make your skin thicker and probably age you quicker from OVER treatment.

Detox your body, from the inside out. Find ONE cleanser you like and ONE medication. Fast on water and clear juices and natural foods for three days. It might make your skin appear worse as your body rids itself of pollutants, but it surly helps in the week following. Also, regardless of what everyone else says about tanning, get out into the sun. No make up, no sunscreen. just make sure you dont get burnt. The sun is the best treatment for your skin. Dont pick at your blemishes once they have dried out hte day following exposure to sun. They will natually scab over for the next day or two and then be totally gone. Good luck!

Try drinking 2 tbs of Apple Cider Vinegar in the morning and in the evenings and also apply it topically. However, this is a home remedy which has lots of rave reviews on the web (just search for it) but I don't know what the condition of your acne is so maybe you could get another dermatologist's opinion.

Have you tried Proactive. My friend had some pretty bad acne until she started using that. Cleared her up quite a bit.
