I am going to get braces and before all that I will wait to get 2 of my baby teeth out or more possibly get it pulled out by the dentist. They will also probably pull some out to make space for all to fit because I have a small jaw. They will also do two sealants (which I do not have a problem with). They will also install the braces.
Yesterday night when I ate chips one of my teeth or gums bleeded.
Ther is no fixed apointment yet.
any advice?

I live in New York in a high rise apartment building on the 35th floor. I was standing by the window and my husband snuck up behind me and grabbed my waste and scared me so bad my top denture flew out of my mouth and landed on the roof of the building next door! I am so upset that I don't want to go anywhere and I can't afford to get new ones at this moment because I just had a baby. What can I do? I know they are there because we can see them with binnoculars!

I was just wondering if there was any possible way that a hole could develop in a dental sealant. The sealant is under 2 months old and the hole is very small. I brushed my teeth very well so it is not just something stuck on there. Thank you for anyhelp that you have

I had braces when I was younger, and my teeth turned out great. Now my wisdom teeth came in the back and screwed them all up again... Are there any nightly worn retainers that straighten em out?? Thanks.

I've got like a cold sore or something on the bottom of my gum, where my left cheek and teeth meet. When I eat, it hurts really bad. How can I soothe it or get rid of it? It's not white and you can't really see it.

I have braces so I've rarely ever flossed, maybe once a week. My dentist told me to floss some more because my gums aren't healthy and they bleed when they're flossed (I don't have gingivitis or anything).

So I decided to floss twice a day, and a few days later my gums looked like they had cuts from flossing too hard. They don't bleed as much as they did a few days back though, so that's a good thing. Should I still continue to floss?

Recently, I went to dentist for a checkup and cleaning. The dentist said that I need fill-ins on 4 sides of my teeth and on next visit, started on the top right first side. The dentist said that I may have to come back the next day if I felt like it was uneven for them to adjust .I felt like it was uneven when I left, but thought it may go away, so I left. The next day, I could not eat or close the right side of my mouth. It felt like there was a piece of something in between my top and bottom teeth. I went and the dentist adjusted it. A few days later, I had to come back because my tooth still felt uneven as if I could not close it all the way or when I bit down on the left side the right side would hit. The dentist adjusted it for the second time. A few days later, whenever I bit on this side, I started to feel pain and could not drink anything remotely cold or hot on the side. I went back to dentist who took fill in out and said I may need a root canal. Do u feel this is right?

What color do you think I should get for my braces? I don't want to get a clear one as well as a white one because it gets all yellow after a while so any suggestions for which color I should get?

I have had Delta Dental coverage for a number of years for my family. My daughter just went through a treatment of braces that went over the "lifetime limit" of $1000 per person. Unfortunately she still requires additional treatment and we're looking at about $3000 more.

My wife is about to reenter the workforce and her employer also offers Delta Dental. What I would like to know is if Delta Dental will look at my daughter as a new account if we pick up coverage through my wife's employer? I wouldn't want to purchase Delta Dental twice if the coverage doesn't reset. I realize that most insurance companies won't allow multiple claims against the same incident (i.e. double payments) but if I drop my Delta Dental and go with my wifes, does Delta Dental lifetime limits reset?

Thanks

I have had pain in a tooth and was sent for a root canal. When the dentist drilled out the tooth, he found that it was cracked on both sides and unable to be fixed. He said the only thing that can be done is to have it pulled. I am going this week to my regular dentist to have it taken out. How do they pull it without it breaking in two since it is already cracked? It seems like any pressure to pull it will bust it apart. If it does break up, how is it removed? Also, will they just numb it with shots like they do for a filling?

Hi, I had a root canal that went south and now the tooth needs to be pulled. I'm horribly afraid of the dentist and I cannot even will myself to make an appointment. Not only that, but I do not have insurance coverage to get sufficient care. The glands in my neck and collarbone are swollen and I have a ceaseless ringing in my ears, they are probably infected as well. If I'm to have the procedure done I would like to be put under for it. Or at least unaware/sedated. Any suggestions?

So, I'm getting the shot tomorrow for a filling. And no, I can't have laughing gas. My dad said they don't offer it, shoot. Never the less, please calm me down by answering a few questions. It would make my day.

1. On a scale one to 10, 10 being the worse, what would you give the shot? -
2. Would it feel like getting your ears pierced? -
3. How many seconds does the shot go in for? -

And anything else. Thank you guys.
