Root canals do NOT lead to gum disease. Negligence in brushing, flossing and regular dental care lead to gum disease.

HELLO,
NO, ROOT CANALS DON'T LEAD TO GUM DISEASE, BUT CONSIDERING THAT 90% OF ADULT AMERICANS NEVER FLOSS, AND 75% HAVE SOME STAGE OF GUM DISEASE, THE FORMATION OF GUM DISEASE IS EASILY AVOIDABLE.
MORAL= JUST FLOSS THE ONES YOU WANT TO KEEP.

If you need a root canal, you probably already have it due to lack of proper care.
