What caused the puffy gums? Braces, Gingivitis, Medication? Get your teeth cleaned first off. On a daily basis you need to brush at a 45 degree angle to the gum tissue with a soft tooth brush. Brush in small cirucular motion. Brush 2-3 times a day for 2-3 minutes ea. time. Change your brush every 2-3 months. Floss once a day in a "c" shape around the sides of each tooth. See-saw down past the contact of your teeth then in an up and down, or circular motion buff the tooth with the floss. Keep your fingers about an inch apart going down and coming back up to maintain a good tension and control of the floss. If your gums bleed with brushing or flossing...keep doing it. After a few days it will lessen and then eventually stop bleeding. That is your goal.
I recommend an electric toothbrush usually too. I like the Oral B Braun, or Sonicare.
If your gums have been puffy for a long period of time and have gotten out of control it might require some minor surgery to get it to go away. Your dentist needs to help you decide about that. Do the hygiene routine for now and forever. Good luck.

why are your gums puffy.. Are they red/swollen? Did you have something done at the dentist..? If you haven't been to a dentist you might want to go and get that checked out. You can swish a few times a day with salt water or perioxide and use Listerine after you brush... If it doesn't go away in a few day I would see the dentist...

You have to make sure you floss. If your gums are puffy they will prob. bleed when you start to floss. Try flossing a couple of days a week and work your way up to everyday along with brushing at least 2 times a day.
Also try rinsing with Listerine.
I hope this helps.

You need to have your dentist examine your teeth and gums. You probably need treatment and should not try to handle this on your own.

If its a infant the teeth (however all your infant the teeth could be out purchase now) attempt and pull it out yet whilst its not perhaps you may circulate to the dentist and get him/her to envision it out. If its rather unfastened they might pull it out and supply you a faux (yet everlasting and genuine-looking) the teeth. Its not something huge.
