Hey guys. I’m 17, and have had my braces off for about two years now. I have tried several teeth whitening products, but none have really worked well. Do you have any suggestions about really good products to use??

Does a toothache always mean a trip to the dentist is needed? Or can it be as mild as a little too much stress? Just hypothetically speaking. A short mild pain? A mild pain for a while?

I'm going to the dentist in two days, but it really hurts right now. I've done everything you can think of. Brushed them, used mouthwash, taken meds (which I am out of except for aspirin) I've put an ice pack on it. The abscess won't go away. I've even taken antibiotics. Nothing is working. I need some relief! My jaw feels like it's going to fall off. I can take a lot of pain but this is crazy!!!! Oh, the nerve IS exposed too which makes matters worse. Please help.... give me any and everything you've got.

I'm not sure if the pain in my upper molar is caused by a tooth decay or wisdom teeth. When I chew anything, my teeth don't hurt at all. My furthest upper molar hurts once in a while, but the pain goes away. So... what do you guys think and what are some symptoms of tooth decay and wisdom teeth?

P.S. I'm going to the dentist next week

Its only my bottom teeth that need alingning. I am talking singing lessons so I don't really want to get them on top because they will mess with my pronunciation. Will it look bad if I only get them on the bottom row?

I posted a question but have another one. I had my abscessed wisdom tooth pulled today and was given a perscription for clindamycin hcl 300mg. I didn't want to take that antibiotic and finally convinced my dentist to perscribe erythromycin(?) since it is in liquid form. He told me that it was my mouth but what I asked for doesn't work and that I should be more concerned with the grape size abscess and bacteria than side effects. He said that the infection will spread to my brain if I didn't take the clindamycin. I don't want that to happen and am scared. I thought pulling the tooth removed the source of the infection but he siad it doesn't. If it helps I weigh 125 pounds, have taken antibiotics only 3 times in my life, and only take childrens tyenol (and its works great). I don't wnt anything bad to happen but i don't want the "cure" to kill me either. Help me please!!

sometimes my back teeth hurt so much that I cry, it happens a lot when I eat sugary stuff but not all the time. I don't have a cavity because I was just at the dentist. They put some gel stuff on it but didn't help. It may be a exposed nerve, I tend to have receeding gums and some gingivitis. Help anyone?

I just got a new band added to my braces that is actually pulling a tooth up and he hurts so badly...I have had this done before..3 times before actually and the tooth is almost in place but it hurts so badly a lot more then it ever did even when I had them first put on...nothing is working...I've tried numbing it, Tylenol and Motrin, orajel and the only thing that works is pushing backwards with my finger to get temporary relief, then it hurt even more when I let go. the last time I had this the pain only lasted 2 or 3 days. this one still hurts 2 weeks later...does anyone know anything else I can try?
