How long have you had braces?

It depends on your particular case. Most patients wear them for about 2 years, some less some more. It really depends on what type of problem you have, and how difficult it will be to correct it. Hope I've been of some help.

It all depends on how bad your teeth are...I had mine on for about 4 years. But I had a friend who only had hers on for 1 year.
And now that my braces are off, I have permanent retainers on the back of my teeth to make sure they don't shift.
It seems like a long time but well worth it!! :D

ussually if your teeth are overcrowding or not really aligned in the right position and you still ned to expand your jaw then it takes 2 years or more. the more work you have for your teeth the longer it takes. if you visit your dentist regularly and have your brace adjusted maybe it will be shorter.

It depends on how bad your teeth are. I have had mine for almost 2 years, once I get them off I have to wear a retainer for 2 years.
My Brother had the same thing, 2 years for each.

It depends how bad off your teeth are and how fast your mouth reacts to them.My mouth wasn't too bad,mainly the bottom that was messed up,and it only took 6 months I think.

i only had them for a year, but i got these special kind that work faster...and my teeth wer'nt that bad to begin with. an average person has them on for about 2 years or more.

My dayghter had them for 5 years..........Depends how young you are when you get them........
