Its only my bottom teeth that need alingning. I am talking singing lessons so I don't really want to get them on top because they will mess with my pronunciation. Will it look bad if I only get them on the bottom row?

You need to ask your Orthodontists this question. Usually if they move the lower, the upper need to be moved also. The bite, or how the upper and lower teeth fit together, as well as how straight and the alignment are what counts. Although I have seen a few cases where the anterior of the lower were all we had to correct. Maybe that will be the case with you. Good luck and I hope I've answered your question.

I almost forgot, if you do get them on top, it may take you a few days or even a few weeks, but you will be able ot enunciate your words correctly while singing. I didn't have any problems with it. No, they won't look bad or silly if you only have them on the bottom.

If you just want the bottom teeth aligned, then you don't have to get them on the top. But...

An orthodontist will want to give you the best result that they can, which usually involves correcting your bite, and that will require upper and lower appliances. That will be what they recommend.

Well I know my orthodontists would give them on the top and bottom, because if you only need fixing on the bottom they still need to re-Aline the top to be right with the bottom.

Ask your orthadontist and he will tell you if need them on both or only on the bottom teeth. It doesn't look bad if you only get them on the bottom because you can't really see them.
