i have ocd and i had some unintentional blasphemous thoughts and MAYBE sayings
im wondering if trying to blasphemy out loud, so i won't be obsessing, worrying or guilty about it when i say it in my mind, is considered to be an intentional one
i think i only said f**king or just the part of it because i tried it a few weeks ago to get the truth and when i did it, i didn't say jesus in my mind after the f word, but what if i did it, would it be intentional? i was also getting frustrated saying it in my mind a lot when i don't even want to do it
it comes up in my mind like a reflex like blinking or a fired bullet once i just think about it
i did it a few years ago
i didn't pray though and should i pray or not?
i can blasphemy again, it's like an impulse and im christian and have nothing against him

Hi, I went to my doctor today for a throat infection and he gave me the prescription antibiotic Amoxicillin. I am on birth control and had sex with my boyfriend yesterday morning and will start taking Amoxicillin tomorrow morning, my period ended on last Tuesday...is there a chance I could get pregnant or since im taking it two days after I had sex I should be fine? How long usually does the Amoxicillin effect birth control? I have 4 days of taking it. Thanks to all who respond :) and happy new year

Is it a sign of a pending heart attack or just a message from the body telling you to exercise more, quit smoking, and watch the caffeine intake? I ask this because my best friend gets flutters and irregular heartbeats from time to time and she's too paranoid to go to a doctor. Thanks!

I'm a 61 yr old female admitted to the hospital with chest pains. Ekg, cardiac enzymes were normal initially, the only concern was my electrolytes, potassium and magnesium levels were low. Four hours later, my troponin levels became elevated and continued to rise. A cardiac catherization was performed, which showed no blockages or heart damage, I was dischaged. 10 days later, the chest pains returned, I was seen in the E.R, my troponin level climbed to 11. I was dischaged with a level of 10. The next day I had a stress test, which was normal. My doctor told me that if I hadn't passed the stress test, they would have done another catherization.
I am scheduled for an echocardiogram and holter monitor in 3 weeks. Has anyone has a similar problem? Please let me know.

I have been married for 10 years. My husband and I have been going through some problems so I moved out. There is no-one else involved, just boredom really and silly arguments. We are trying to work things out apart from a sex issue. When we have sex my husband keeps losing his erection and we don't know why. He is only 30 and this has never happened before. I asked him if there was any problem and he said no. It is strange because we are working things out and getting on well now and going to Relate. Nothing else in our relationship has changed and he is always there when I need him. We see each other regularly and I know he isn't cheating. Could it be that he is feeling insecure because I moved out? Our sex life has always been great up to now.

I eat crushed ice quite frequently, and one of my teachers mentioned that people with low amounts of iron in their system eat lots of ice (she has low iron). I was wondering if there is any information that provides this theory to be true.

I'm not overweight (8 stone) but my belly (particularly lower) still looks a bit flabby and pokes out. I have a healthy diet and try to do at least 40 minutes of cardio a week. What can I do to tone up my tummy? What kind of exercises help and how often?

I have head a top counsellor say that people with strong personalities are "resistant" to counselling.
I have a very strong personality.
I had counselling for a year, which was rubbish, and I ended up with schizophrenia in a psych ward soon afterwards.
Counselling was so useless for me, because just talking about...things...and myself does not help at all. And I don't think that counselling is the best way to prevent schizophrenia from developing further, by itself.
I told my counsellor at the time that I kept seeing things and hearing things, and she just blanked me off on it, saying that it was my imagination.
