I am a 16 year old female diagnosed with bipolar (which has been very prominent for 3 years, but I was just diagnosed in May 2007.)

I want to know if the number and dosage of my medicatons is unusually high. It seems like a lot to me, and I get sick of taking so many, consequently shoving them in my pockets and saving them when my parents give them to me . Here is what I'm getting:

A.M.:

450 mg Lithium
250 mg. Lamictal
? not sure how much Celexa

P.M.
900 mg Lithium
Ambien

Thanks! Also- any other people who dealt with bipolar as an adolescent? How in hell did you manage? It seems so impossible so much. How did you do it?

I had a fall and a cage fell on my leg. I was giving a prescription for Cyclobenzaprine which is genic for Flexeril 10mg. They told me it was a musle relaxer. What should I expect to feel. I was going to take one at work but was afraid what it would do to me. Thanks!

This is embarrassing but I am going to tell the story anyway because I am worried. Earlier today, my SO and I were having sex. Right after we finished, the phone rang and since it is in the same room, he figured he would get it. He started walking to the phone and then he just collapsed. He was out for about a minute. When he came to, he asked "what happened?" and I told him that he'd fainted and asked if he wanted me to call the doctor. He was embarrassed and said that he didn't want to tell the doctor and asked me to help him clean off (you know what I am talking about) and help him get back in the bed. He is resting now. What is wrong? Has anyone else out there fainted? Should he go to the doctor?

He is a young man if that helps any.

I broke my hip about 2 weeks ago, and I had to get pins in it, as well as some stitches. They put the stitches in while they put the pins in, so I was asleep and didn't feel them...but I'm really nervous about getting them out. When I was 4 years old, I had some stitches taken out, and all I can remember is a little pinch...but I'm not sure if I remembered correctly, or if this time will be different...

So do you think it hurts?

I been having problems with my eyes since I got my eyes dialated. I wanna get it checked again but how would they check my retina or my eyes? Because I don't want to get dialated since it wasn't too long ago and those eye drops caused problems. Do they use some machine to check it?

Do you ever feel like people who have never had a migraine don't believe you? Like they think migraines are nothing more than a bad headache?

I've been getting migraines for a few years now, I'm on a prescription, but as you well know, it doesn't always work. And I have had to call in to work or leave early due to a bad migraine, and sometimes I feel guilty because I feel like my fellow coworkers who don't know what it's like think it's not that big of a deal. Am I the only one who faces this issue?

for my sinus infection. The past few days my gums have been painful. They are raw and red on the back lower side of my mouth near the jaw. I am wondering if the ear infection caused the gum discomfort. I cant eat anything on my right side due to the sensitivity. My wisdom teeth have plenty of room to come in so it cant be that. Please help.

I work at a place where there is a lot of physical work. I really don't like the job that much. This morning I fell on the ice and now I have a severe sprain. HOw do I tell them that I don't want to work there anymore. I am schedualed to work this weekend but now obviously I can't. HELP PLEASE!!!
