I had a fall and a cage fell on my leg. I was giving a prescription for Cyclobenzaprine which is genic for Flexeril 10mg. They told me it was a musle relaxer. What should I expect to feel. I was going to take one at work but was afraid what it would do to me. Thanks!

You'll feel sleepy....and a little happy. Try taking only half a pill. If that doesn't do anything for you (which it should), go ahead and take the other half in about an hour.

Really, very little. You might sleep really good, and you shouldn't drive or operate machinery.

If you were a woman, and were pregnant, I'd have some stories to tell you about how flexeril can make your ligaments stretch and cause a lot of problems, but it looks like you are a guy, and won't be taking flexeril long term.

Just take it before bedtime and RELAX. It probably won't help your pain with the first dose. By the next day you'll feel better.

if its a 10mg pill, i wouldnt be too worried, but i would take it when you get home from work or school or whatever (or when you know you'll have a while before you have to go somewhere) and probably dont expect to drive anywhere for a good 10-12 hours (at least its like that for me).

basically, your mind will feel the same but just like the nature of the pill, your body will feel quite relaxed and you wont feel much pain (much of anything, really). i wouldnt suggest taking one at work (unless you have a job that you dont like, i take a half pill every once in a while). but yeah: mostly good stuff.

Common side effects are sleepiness, loss of coordination, some report anxiety, but most react well at it. Don't take it during the day.

flexerill is actually for muscle spasms, valium is for muscle relaxing. Some people can take it with no problem but others are extremely affected by it so take it the first time while at home so you know what to expect.
feel better!

you might get sleepy and probably should take it when you get home so you don't get too drowsy behind the wheel.
