The best way to handle your problem is to call your boss and tell him you are unable to work for a few days because of your injury, If need be, get a doctors order from doctor and deliver it in person to your boss ONLY!!! Then when you are able to go back to work, Work about a week! Then go into your bosses office and tell him or her that you would like to talk to him or her!

Then tell him or her that the work you are having to do is just too much for you and that, You feel it's just not going to work out and that you want to give a 2 weeks notice that you will be quitting the employment at there business! and then during them two weeks find and have a more suitable job lined up for you to work at, so when your final 2 weeks notice is up, you won't be jobless!

Never just quit a job without doing it the respectable way of giving a 2 weeks notice and doing it in a written notice is also a big Plus for references! You owe that much to your boss for hiring you in the first place ! All employers use that as a reference for your on job searching! as references to getting a new job! Never leave a job on a bad note, it may haunt you for the rest of your career days! Laws say employers can't use bad working problems you have had, but they still do it!

And there's not much you can do about it, unless you have really good proof they did say bad things about you, that you never got the job you wanted! Good references of ex- employers are a great source of getting new jobs, never mess them up!!!

Just be honest and polite when quitting a job! and don't make up stories of why your quitting a job! Telling them the truth is the only way!!!

If you fell on the ice at work, you get workman's compensation.

If you don't want to work there, just tell them that you don't want the job anymore. You only have to give the two weeks notice if you want to use them as a reference in the future.

If you hurt your foot and you can't work, you should tell then that right away. At the same time, you can tell them that you aren't really interested in coming back after your foot heals. You can offer to do other stuff (office work or something easy) for them for the two weeks if they want you to. Most jobs say that you have to give two weeks notice. But, if you just started, you probably don't know very much, you aren't that valuable yet (no slam on you just a fact that employees are usually not very valuable for the first few days or weeks) and they won't miss you that much.

Just tell them that you got hurt, you can't do your regular job right now, you can do something else for awhile if they need you but you don't think that you want to work there any more. Most likely they will just tell you "Good Luck" and send you on your way.

Are you a big girl and do you have a phone???
Did you slip on the ice at work or at home?
If you did it at work, it's a worker's injury and you should talk to your human resources about it.
If you did it at home, it's on you.
But you want to quit your job because it's too physical and you don't like it?
How old are you?
Did you not understand the requirements of the job when you accepted it?
Do you not understand that this company has put time and effort and money into recruiting and training you?
Not to mention that quiting without giving them notice leaves them in the lurch (they did hire you because they need someone in your position at work !)
You sound immature and selfish and whiny.
Good luck getting your next job when you'll have to explain to a prospective employer why you quit and left someone else dangling but you sure won't do it to them.....

Sounds to me like you just dont want to work and are looking
for excuses not to go ... so just dont go they'll fire you soon enough and then you can cry the blues cause you got fired.. Do you know how many people would kill for a job people who have families to raise and feed .. quit bein lazy and you might feel good about yourself by knowing that you wernt a quitter ....lots of people hate their jobs but have no other option .. other wise I guess you need to marry a rich person one day ...but most of them had to work hard for what they have too .. so that brings me back to my point .. get off your butt and go to work ... theres always going to be another weekend but not always another job ..

simply tell your boss the job is not a good fit for you, and you are giving your notice. But, if you were hurt on the job, you want to wait until you have been treated for that injury. If you were not hurt on the job, then it really doesn't matter.

Hand in your notice; apologize for not working out the required time due to an injury and wave bye bye. Just don't ever use them as a reference.

Tell the manager that you just don't feel right in your position.
And that you are severely hurt, and you simply cannot continue your duty as an employee.
