Is being blind in one eye considered legally blind?

I have 20/40 vision in one eye, and pretty much am blind in one eye, I can only see a fuzzy light?

Visually Impaired but not "legally blind".

No. Legal blindness means 20/200 or worse, while wearing best glasses in the better eye.

You would have to be assesed by an optomitrist. Legally Blind is based off of a certain pretcent. To know if you are, you would have to take some sort of visual test and the doc would prescribe a percent.
