I been having problems with my eyes since I got my eyes dialated. I wanna get it checked again but how would they check my retina or my eyes? Because I don't want to get dialated since it wasn't too long ago and those eye drops caused problems. Do they use some machine to check it?

Have you talked to the person that dilated your eyes and did the first exam about your concerns?

You should go to a ophthalmologist, a physician that specializes in disorders of the eye, to give you peace of mind and clear up your concerns.

The medication used to dilate the pupils wears off in a few hours. You have not said what type of problems you are having. Are they just visual? Is there redness, puffiness, discharge?

If you got new glasses or contact lenses, the prescription could be wrong or filled incorrectly. Anyone, doctor or lab can make a mistake. If you are wearing contacts, could you have the right and left reversed? Maybe the boxes are mislabeled, if the correction in different in each eye. You should check back with the doctor.

By the way the word is spelled "dilate". The other spelling is a very common error. I had to check the dictionary to be sure and I have been working in health care over 40 years.

If you are experiencing problems with the eyes, they are too important to not get a check up. Go see an eye doctor.
