I'm a 20-year-old female, and every so often I'm woken up during my sleep by really intense pains behind my knee, sometimes stretching down to the calf. I remember this happening since I've been young, probably around the age of seven.

I've never had a severe knee injury, though I did used to play soccer. The last two nights I've been woken up from these pains, and the last couple of days I've been more active than usual, although not excessively so.

It was suggested that the cause could be a calcium deficiency or dehydration. Does anyone know what could be causing these pains?

Thanks!

I'm tracking my weight every week for weight loss. Should I weigh myself in the morning, before I eat, or at night after I am done eating? And why?

Thanks!

My Dr. called me last week to tell me that I couldn't have my IUD inserted because the results from my pap came back abnormal & possibly cancerous. Now I am going in tomorrow for a Colposcopy.

my question is, has anyone else had this done, and what were your results?

I've never been so scared in my life (I'm so nervous I haven't slept a wink all night), my husband and I just had our first child in March. We want to have another child in a few years... I'm terrified that something will happen that will not allow me to have children anymore...

Thanks Ladies... in advance.

Why do women love to answer questions in men's health? Is it more interesting than women's health?

For commercials for viagra and stuff like that, they just blurt out what the pill does in like 3 seconds then switch commercials, or their tricky about it like enzyte and they never actually bluntly tell you what the pill does. Beceause they know men are just going to get offended for anything more than that.

For feminine hygene products they always seem to go on and on for like 5 minutes and say the word "vagina" like 8 times per minute, needless to say they don't beat around the bush for anything.

These commercials make me really uncomfortable, beceause I really don't like to hear about women bleeding out of their crotch to begin with. I do not want to think about it at all. Then these commercials have to explain it to me in detail every commercial break durring my favorite program.

Does this type of crap ever make women uncomfortable?

I am a 20 old male. Pimples are a problem and now I wonder what I may be doing to trigger them. Now I am even applying plant juice from aloe vera direct from plant and boiling leaves to drink. I have done this for a week now and I am not sure it will work. I have oily skin and it makes them look worse. What do I do?

its just something I have noticed.. could it be that the parents along with not bothering to install any work ethic into their children they also didn't bother to make sure their children brushed their teeth.
When I say benefits people I mean the perfectly healthy human beings who can't be bothered to get a job, not those who cannot work due to illness/disability.

For quite some time now I've been off and on with these really out of whack sleeping patterns. I just figured that it was something that happened to me during the summer time, because I've been staying up till dawn and sleeping till late afternoon during the summer for nearly a decade. But now, even though winter is here I am still having this feeling of being awake and active at night while being tired during the day! I sometimes even stay up for 24 hours or more to reset my sleep schedule, but even that doesn't seem to work anymore... I'll still spring awake at odd hours and then end up feeling tired during the day. I actually fell asleep for a little while during the evening today and now it's 2:15 AM and I'm only slightly tired... Sometimes, I'm even tired at night but I'm against the idea of going to sleep during the night... It's like I want to stay up until I absolutely can't fight it anymore... Weird, huh? This seems to be psychological, almost... Does it sound familiar?

Let me start by saying that my dental hygiene is great...

Anywho, I have noticed today that the gum between my two bottom front teeth is no longer connected and it feels sorta weird (doesn't feel like anything technically, I can move it around with my tongue and that is what is weird).

Has this happen to anyone before? If so was it serious? I am just curious... would hate to go to the dentist for something small.
