women using birth control to regulate there period?

i was having a period every day for 2 years. i seen the doctor and was put on the nuva ring for two months. after the second month i stopped using it. i now have not had any bleeding since september 20th. has this happened to anyone, and why is it happening like this. my husband and i have been trying for 9 years to have a baby, but it's one thing after another. i see the doctor jan 4th. thats the soonest i could get in. thanks in advance.

This not bleeding could be your body's way of trying to adjust to being off the medication. It can take a few months for the body to fully adjust to being off the medication.
