i like reading fantasy books, especially ones that are about magic but during my free time i start imagining about things that's impossible to happen. i know for young kids to have great imagination are normal but i'm not a kid anymore. Is it normal??

When I read that genre, and its my favorite, I completely forget reality, forget I am only reading, and see myself there, see the characters, the adventures. Nothing wrong with having an active imagination.

Why not daydream if you want too, again I see nothing wrong, unless of course you confuse reallity and imagination. I often wander in strange realms when doing boring tasks, just shows you have an active mind. Better to be off to some adventure in your mind, than getting excited about washing dishes and worse still maybe, seeing things in the patterns of trash left on the plates.. lol

it is completely normal ,, the author of the book u read is an adult and he needed imagination to create the fantasy story ..... it will become unnormal if u act like this for a long time for example after 1 year from the time u finished the book...

JK Rowlings, Tolkien, CS Lewis - all adults and all have/had wonderfully active imaginations. An imagination is not exclusive to kids.

well i think you over read those fantasy books :) if you try to read other kinds of reading materials, you'll see that what you imagine is what you have just read. i think what you're experiencing is just normal :)
