You want to hear something that will make you feel better instantly? I was a virgin until I married at 29. That is ten years older than you are now. I come from a strict Greek family and if I lost my virginity earlier and was found out, I would probably be hanging upside down from the fig tree in the back yard. So, lighten up, and stop thinking of yourself in terms of failure. Having your virginity at this age is a virtue, not something to be ashamed of. I wore it like a badge of honour.

While everyone around you is waking up with strangers and feeling used, you should feel like you've achieved something by holding back. Young people think that their virginity is something to be lost as soon as possible, this way of thinking has to be stopped. It makes me respect people a thousand times more if I know they haven't lost their virginity as soon as they're able to.

No, the state of the world's STD health crisis makes the best case for Chasity and monogamy.

Waiting until you know and trust someone enough to have sexual relations is healthy both physically and mentally.

Only you can protect yourself from STD's and the potential emotional stress of a sexual relationship. Waiting for the right relationship, with a person you can trust to be disease free and loving enough to make sure you are emotionally satisfied with your first and long lasting sexual health is only smart.

It shows great maturity and mental strength.

There is no doubt a lot of pressure to have sex early and often. Remember there are a lot of stalkers in this world that would want you to think any sexual experience is better than none.

Don't buy into that wait until you are ready with the partner you are ready to be with and that is ready to be with you long term.

absolutely not. Its fine to wait until you find the right person. Dont think there is something wrong with you if you are still a virgin. You want it to be meaningful. So waiting until the right person comes along is a good thing. 19 is not really very old. You still have time for that.

Why would there be something wrong with you? Your a virgin because you've never had sex. Which isn't a bad thing, that is something that should be saved for your spouse. There is nothing wrong with you, your normal in every sense of the word. I was a vigin till I got married at 19, and I didn't regret that at all.......

Nope - there is something wrong with most everybody else. I know it's confusing, but having respect for yourself, your body and your future is a good thing, even though people who don't have those values try to make it seem like a bad thing. Just keep your eyes on the truth and don't believe lies people tell you about yourself. Or anything else.

No. It just means that you are smart. I was a virgin until I was 23. I had lots of opportunities before then. I just wanted to wait until I was in a stable relationship.
Sometimes I regret the decision, but in the end I am happy that I didn't have to worry about STDs and getting pregnant before I was ready.

there's nothing wrong with you...
there are a lot of people in your age that say they are not virgin anymore and it's not even true!

you have all the time in the world...and do it only when you're sure that it's the right moment to do it!

=)
