I plan on fasting for 21 days alongside a church starting Jan 1st. I plan on doing a liquid fast for 14 days and then slowly adding on vegetables and fruits. I am 4 foot 10, 18, and weigh between 90-92 pounds.

Will I be in immediate danger by doing this kind of fast?

I suffer from severe back pain. I have a slipped disk that I got from a fall down my stairs. Anyways, my doctor has prescribed me vicodin. With two refills. Ive refilled some already. I usually put my request in for refills via online request because its easier for me, and then go in and pick up. Anyways, Ive noticed that my refill number allowed is NOT going down. A lot of my other prescriptions (birth control etc) have all gone down each time I refill. My vicodin however is not. Its still the same and even listed on my bottle with so and so refills left. Is this a technical error or what? Should I be concerned?

New to PCOS. Can 1 ovarian cyst be classified as PCOS much less produce symptoms of PCOS? How are cases like this treated especially to restore normal ovulation/menstruation?

Are there alternatives to medication, such as draining of the cysts. Will this method effectively restore normal ovarian function?

Hi I dont know what to do, Im falling to pieces. I am 15wks pregnant, we didnt want to be pregnant really until another year or so after we had lived together and worked out if we could live in a blended family together as my partner has two children from a previous marriage. He has them 5 days a fortnight. After much stress and angst we decided to trial living together and see if we could bring it all together, well all that has happened is a million issues have surfaced, children, finances, right down to little things...I am so stressed out and cannot even see straight and it all culminated this morning to me chucking a rage and practically going crazy and ripping my xmas tree to bits. I have lost it, the stress and complications are killing me. I do suffer from depression. I have found I dont have much say in many things and my partner acts defensively to any issue ihave i feel like im fighting for an inch. I need to matter to

I am looking into something here if a male 29 yrs old has no heart conditions in the family but seems to complain of pains in the chest sometimes and heart palpatations, he has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat but nothing more. He is not over weight by any means, is it possible to be something serious or should he not worry about it are there some signs that could mean something to get checked out?

It still amazes me that people can be colorblind. I had a chem professor who told the class he was colorblind and I wondered what did he see, what were his experiences? Did he see life in grey colors, limited colors?

Are you colorblind? If so what are ur experiences? What do you see?

As part of my exercise routine, I do two sets of 10 pushups.. (the "girl" ones, because I can't do real ones anymore). I'm a female teenager.. I was just wondering, if I continue with them, will I work away my already small chest? *blushes*

For the past 3 weeks my thighs have ached and felt some what fatigue/weak. I have not been working out and I was sick for the past three weeks as well. I went to the doctor due to a stomach ache with led me to a ct scan of my stomach. The results showed a pocket in my diverticlem(sp?) I then went to the urologist and they said that it didn't look serious and that it was not a stone. All in all I feel a lot better but my Legs are achy and I don't know why. I am 25 and never had any major health issues. The only major health issues in my family (on mothers side) is diabetes. I have noticed the following lately, dyhydration , seem to be drinking or wanting to drink more often, which leads to more trips to the bathroom. My throat was sore and my glands were swollen as well. My eyes have been hurting some what as well, dry like feeling. I am waiting fo rmy results to come back to see what levels my sugar is etc..Has anyone else experienced this before or have a clue to what this may be? Tks

For the last few months i have been having major chest pains on my left side. Some times its more towards my left breast, and sometimes its more in my shoulder (99 percent in the shoulder though).. When i do get it, it is usually really sevear and painful. When i went to the doctor last month for a different reason, i completely forgot to mention it because i hadnt had the pain in over 2 weeks. i had it again last week, and this morning i woke up with it.. today it would only hurt when i bent down, but now its hurting every second and extremly bad. During the summer, there was a week straight were i was crying and couldnt sleep it hurt so bad but i was in another country so couldnt go to a doctor. I don't do any phycial work that would cause this, and it just randomly comes. I am a 17 year old female, average weight and size. Right now it really hurts and im wondering if it sounds serious enough to make the long trip to the hospital?

Ever since I was 13 years old, I've always woken up with a stiff back and aching muscles through out the day. I have a rather large busom and I know that contributes to the pain along with the fact that I fell on my tail bone when I was younger and my back has never been the same. I've never thought about going to the doctor for back pain before, because I just thought it was normal... Then I talked to my friend about it who takes Muscle Relaxers and vicodin for her back, and I tried one, and I woke up in the morning with NO back pain what so ever... I NEVER realized just how good my back could feel! Now, I want to talk to my doctor about it, how would I go about it? I want to try something along the lines of phyisical therapy and pain management... How do I bring it up? Oh, by the way, I'm only 20...
