43 yrs old, clots, major bleeding, pain. Help

You may have bits of the uterine lining that won't shed. This causes heavy bleeding and is more common as you get older. See your gynecologist. They can try to "roto rooter" you and scrape it down and clean it out. That can help. They used to just do a hysterectomy, but the tide is turning against doing that unless you really want it. Sometimes infections can increase bleeding, too, so it's best to ask your doctor.

get to an obgyn asap...i started that two yrs ago. i ended up having an emergency partial hysterectomy. my uterus was covered with fibrious tumors and they were all opened up and bleeding...they ended up giving me 6 pints of blood during surgery...please see a dr. soon! hope you feel better soon! i understand how you are feeling.

See you GYN!!!! There might be something they can give you - don't know if you want to go on birth control pills, but it's common to give young girls them when they have very heavy periods.
