After spotting for several weeks, my doctor put me on Prometrium 200mg for 10 days, but the spotting turned into a period and has yet to go away and today will be day 9. Is this normal?

This does not sound normal. I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let them know what's going on to have them evaluate the situation further.

you are able to initiate taking the Prometrium as quickly as you're shown pregnant. in case you're certainly pregnant, (especially 4wks gest as you reported) you would be taking it in the present day. Prometrium is used in early being pregnant to help sustain the being pregnant and it reduces the threat of miscarriage. seems such as you have struggled with infertility in case you have been utilising Clomid, so your scientific expert has prescribed Prometrium as one extra degree to maintain this being pregnant. Prometrium will help develop the endometrium (Uterine lining) to optimistically develop the placental attachment.... It easily provides sustainability because it works on the cervix, uterus & fetus. stable good fortune
