A lot of people say you should eat every few hours regardless, however Paul Mckenna says you should only eat when you are hungry. What do you think? In terms of losing and mainting weight.

I have been diagnosed with arthritis last month but haven't been told yet what kind it is, since i'm still going through tests. First it was in my fingers and now its very painful in knees, wrists , elbows and ankles. I have trouble doing simple things like typing and walking. I'm prescribed with Prednisone, and i've been taking them for a week but there's no benefits yet. How long after would the effects show? I'm also taking omega 3. My question is, is it possible that i become healthy and be able to run and do things like i did, or does the arthritis get worse with age? Is there anyone out there who had their symptoms gone completely? If yes, then with what?

Ok, I was diagnosed with depression by my family physician about a year ago.She put me on anti-depressants and insisted that I see a psychiatrist. I quit taking them about three months later and thought that I was fine and didn‘t see anyone about my problem. Since stopping them things have slowly gotten out of control and with many recent happenings i.e. : Grandfather passing away, serious marital problems, finding that 2 family members are terminally ill, and my sister being hospitalized due to pregnancy complications I have decided that I need to see someone before I go totally out of my mind!!! Sorry for rambling….the bottom line is…when the martial problems first started (this was the first out of all these recent events) I left work early and haven’t been back. Its been about 3 weeks now. I have had contact with my boss on a weekly basis and she is aware of what’s going on and where I stand as far as my treatment and so on. I am seeing my family doctor tomorrow

I have had major trouble going to sleep these past couple of months (insomnia I guess) and it takes me a good 2 hours before I actually go to sleep. So recently I started mixing a shot of vodka with orange and cranberry juice and I pass out in 15 minutes. Will this have a negative effect on me?

I have read a few posts on this and never saw a definite answer. I cannot walk for more than a block nor can I run - bad back. I am doing Atkins and have lost 40 pounds. I now have much belly fat and need a specific exercise that I can do that will not affect my back.

I am 64 years old and it is hard to lose this weight that I gained because of Diabetes type 2. I should say I gained weight and "then" got Diabetes.

I just need a couple exercises for this problem alone. By the way, I still have 30 pounds to lose and guess where most of it is.

I am trying to order my husband a robe online but not sure which size to get him. He is 5'10 and 160lbs. I am not sure if I should get him a large, medium, or extra large. I don't want him swimming in it but large enough so that it is comfortable and plushy. It is for Christmas so I don't want to just ask him.

I'm having an EXTREEEEEEEME craving for one!!! I don't put sugar or Splenda or anything on it -- I eat it like you would an orange (peeling it and pulling apart the slices). Last night I had about 4 slices and I'm thinking about having the rest of it today.

How far off with that throw my Atkins diet? I did the grapefruit diet once before and it surprisingly WORKED, so I'm thinking (well, more like hoping) that maybe a grapefruit here or there could be an exception to the strict Atkins diet??????????

lol HELP ME OUT HERE PLEASE!!!!! I'll pick a best answer TODAY! Thanks!! :)

In year 11 we have to get an injection against tetanus, and the police were in our school today. Is it being stopped? Also, why do we have to get it when Tetanus is rare as Hell and can't even be found here?

I need to loose 80 pounds and can't find motivation. I went back to my doctor today. He gave me a higher dose of high blood pressure pills (my pressure was 140/100 today) and he told me that I have to take this seriously.

I don't know where to start.

Is anyone as confused as me?

I would like someone I can email daily and we can sorta monitor each other's progress.

You wanna? Huh? Pleeeeease. =-)

Hi,

I seem to have all the signs - it began with numbness in hands/feet, and has progressed to alternating 'burning' in my feet and legs in a number of weeks - I'm 22, do not have diabetes, and am terrified at the thought of living with this pain. Will it just get worse?

I get them a few times a week in the evenings but they do not last that long. My head....well, mainly my ears are really clogged up. I'm deaf in one ear so, it's driving me nuts. I can feel the pressure and my ears are ringing. I've been taking decongestants, but they don't seem to be doing any good. I've left a message for my doctor and I just need some advice on what I can take until he calls me back. This same thing happened to me last year and my eustachian tube collapsed and I was almost deaf for 3 weeks. I'm trying to keep that from happening again this year. Help!! What do you guys suggest that will help unclog me fast?

I have had two tubes of unopened toothpaste in my medicine cabinet for about 6 months to a year. I am curious if the ingredients in regular floride toothpaste ever go bad or become unsafe to use after a certain lenght of time.

Hi, I have been on Pain Management succesfully for almost three years, but my pain doctor closed shop. I cannot find any pain doctors in central nj who will prescribe narcotics, and I desperately need them...they are the ONLY thing that works, I have multiple chronic pain conditions. I am on disability for them as well. If you know of anyone kindly contact rnrhoney at gmail.com thank you, andrea

There are tons and tons of questions of "Am I pregnant?" And yet nobody seems to worry about "Did I catch a disease?" It really bothers me that people are having unprotected sex and nobody seems to grasp that being pregnant is sometimes the least of your worries. Aids will kill you and yet still no one seems to care about that. Unless you are in a strictly monogamous relationship you shouldn't be having unprotected sex. You should also think about a blood test too. I'm shocked at people's ignorance. Even with planned parenthood and free condoms etc.

I have had a mild migraine since Monday morning. It doesn't throb, it is in my forehead, around my eyes and between them. It won't go away. I've taken Tylenol, had enough to eat, drank plenty of water, and it won't go away.

What do I do?

Hi all ok ive been studying animal management for a couple of months now and have been working in a cattery for about 7 months. I also have two gorgous cats. I have seen a parasites video today in class and its given me some facts about toxoplasmosis that i didnt know like its not curible as it goes to the brain and stays there. Im panicing really bad im 19 and want children in a couple of years but feel where i have worked in a cattery and have handled hundreds of filthy litter trays my chances are going to be pretty high of having the parasite. Im worrying that i might not be able to have children now or if i do they will get affected with the parasite ive always been worried about infertility and stuff and this has just made it sooo much worse specially as i could of avoided working with cats etc. Am i just worrying over nothing or is there some truth in this? Has anyone had children who have worked with cats without implications? sorry about spelling mistakes etc.
