My 18th birthday in 4 days and i still don't drive. I have my permit..had that for 2 years now. I took my drivers test..but BOMBED IT! I was completely nervous...and the WOMEN didn't help any by being a total *****. Im also afraid of driving..i don't know why..but i am. So here i am, almost 18..depending on other people still. Im ashamed about it..i hate having to still depend on people to get around..does anyone have any advice for me????

Is it possible that only 1 pair of custom orthotic shoe insoles cost as much as $450 from an Ontario specialist. I think I've been ripped off. Before getting a prescription to get these, I had inquired to my co-workers. All of them told me that specialists will generally order you 2 pairs. 1 pair for workboots and 1 pair for casual wear. They all told me that the $450 that my insuarance covers pays for both pairs in a package. I went to see a doctor with the name of a specialist that my co-workers had recomended me to deal with. I did not see my regular family doctor for getting the prescription as there is a walk-in clinic I access here from time. In there, I mentioned the specialist someone had told me about but the doctor refused to refer me to anyone but the specialist that is in the same buildin as where both operate. He told me that I was to get two pairs as a prescription. Once upstairs, the specialist tells the same. 1 week later I get one pair. Everyone now denies it was for 2

i dont know why i am getting suidcal thoughts. i dont think i will kill myself. but its really freaking me out that i think about different ways i could kill myself. ive talked to a doctor, she said its probably stress. but its really disturbing me and i dont know why im thinking this way. i used to be really religious. i never had any serious mental problem, i am a genereally happy person until like 2 months ago when one day i thought what it would be like to kill myself. i dont think i would ever attempt it..but why am i thinking about stuff like this, it scares me, i have dreams that i try to kill myself and dont want to but i cant save myself. i dont know who to ask for help or where to go. i tried talking but my parents think im just asking for attention or whatever, but im not! i want help. why am i thnking like this, i feel like such a bad person for thinking of this. can someone help me

i went to see they said he was private psychartist but before i went to him i was seeing another psychartist the insurance i had at first was just medicaid. they told me i had to find another doctor because i had medicaid. then i went to this other doctor at first they took me for a few months then he charged me a co-pay that i could not afford. then i got medicare and of course i tried to find another doctor the same one i had for 10yrs or longer.do you think the private doctor tried to take advantage of a poor person.of course im disabiled with paranoid schizophrenia.how can you tell if there will be a co-pay or not.can someone explain the medicare medicaid system.

I have advanced Osteoporosis and Kyphosis. I've just started PT and would like to have a somewhat technical understanding of how the exercises I do help. I would like to find a web site that describes some of the exercises and how they help. I would also like to see diagrams of the myafasia and how massage from a PT therapist manipulates the myofasia to relax. I've been looking for such a site but cannot find one. Can you help? My periods have been out of wack for the last year and a half since I went off birth control. I get a period about every 3 months. The last 4 months I've been getting yeast infections, I got 4 of them (2 diagonsed by the doctor) I just went in last wendsday and started taking the diflucan pill a 10 day treatment. I got what I thought was my period on Sunday, but I've never had a period this light. Nothing on panties, only when I wipe. Is this just spotting or is this a period. It's brown and seems like it's mixed with a clear discharge. My last period before this was Sept. 12. I'm married, 23 and have protected sex.

I went in to see my Doctor today and she is sending me to a specialist for my right breast and has scheduled a mammogram and an ultrasound. I am only 25. Should i be very worried? Im having sharp pains in my right breast and slight discoloration and is very stiff. I also have no family history of breast cancer. Should I be very worried?

Okay, I had this bump on my eye lid for almost 5 months now,Since July 1st 07. has not went away,just always been there. it actually looks like its inside my eye lid making the bump apear on the outside. I don't know what it could be! I realized when it first showed up trust me,it wasn't hard... it hurt so bad the first few days to a week... It was a lot worse the first week making my eye swoop down funny... it still is swooped but not as much you can't really tell in less i point it out. But I never done anything about it because I thought it was from the pool... Because right after I came from the pool within that night or next day is when it started doing it... That's why I just assumed it was from the pool, and that it would go away pretty soon... because I had my eyes hurt from the pool before. The eye docter said my eyes are healthy (this was months before the bump when he said that). But does anyone know what it could be? If so, how do I get rid of it? Have you had this before?

Ok during early pregnancy do your nipples get darker? I've been searching online and all I can come up with is the areola darkening. I mean the nipple. Mine are like purplish red. (Darker than normal) Usually pink. Thanks folks!! Have a happy holiday.

I went to the doctor in march and was diagnosed with a throat/ear infection tube block thing and was on painkillers and it went away however i have been left with this feeling of needing to cough and always coughing up lots of phlegm and its horrible and still here. I don't have any other symptoms of any other things associated with that that i can find so am really stuck as to what i have got. The only symptoms i can think of are tiredness and lack of concentration. But i would really like to stop this. does anyone know what i have got?
It doesn't hurt to cough it up.

I just got my 1st ear piercing on Sunday at Piercing Pagoda. Monday night, my ears began to turn a reddish color. I thought it was no big deal, cuz after all, it was my first piercing. Then, on Tuesday, it was red and it began to get all puffy, then finally it's now all bumpy and red and puffy. I'm scared, cuz it's on both of my ears. I think it's because the earrings that I'm wearing are causing an allergic reaction to my ears. I asked the nurse at my school what was wrong, and she just told me to keep on cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and it's still not gone! I'm really scared that I'm gonna lose both of my ears. My mom already took out my earrings, cuz she didn't want me to get really infected. She just took them out today. I've been wearing my earrings for only about 4 days, and I have them taken out. Both of my ears are still bumpy, pimple-like, kinda puffy and red. I keep on cleaning them like I'm supposed to, so any suggestions on what I should do?

And tonight he called and asked if Shake n Bake chicken was okay.
I said sure, whatever, because I didn't want him to have to make anything else after he had already bought it.
So my question is. Is chicken skin really all that horrible for you?
If I don't have the chicken skin, I'm simply not eating the chicken, I'll gace abagel. So, answer please, and tell me why. Easy ten points, no?

I've been having chest pains on and off for about 4 years now.
When I went to the doc the first time he said I had an "irritation" around my heart and prescribed me some Aspirin. They've been coming and going ever since.

Recently in the past few months they've gotten more frequent and more intense. I recently had an exercise stress test and haven't heard back from the doctor yet even though it was more than 2 weeks ago. I ended up going to the hospital one morning because the pains were so bad. There they did an ECG, blood work, chest x-ray and an ultrasound. All they told me was that the ECG was "abnormal" but nothing else was visibly wrong. The doc prescribed me some anti-inflammatory meds that don't stop the pain.

The pain itself is in different places at different times, sometimes the left side right beneath my breast and spreads to my shoulder and back area, sometimes like pressure on the center, and sometimes it's on the right side. I'm really scared about this...HELP
