It depends on the situation; if you mean the feeling after a serious experience like a death... if you let it. It will take a long time, but it gets to a point were you are able to just accept it. However if you just mean that general got the blues feeling ... I don't think that it ever is gone for good.
Sometimes you just need to get with someone that really cares for you. many people find a parent (or other family member) and cry it really does release some chemicals that will relieve some stress. It may not be the cure all answer though.
If you are able to bury yourself into a good cause (I recommend helping others, it seems to work best) then it generally will relieve that pain of the heart (even if it is difficult to start). It works with both kinds of pain, so if you are really having a hard time you should give it a try.
I hope you get feeling better *Hugs*=)

I wish I could say it does go away. I had something pull out that deep down cry a few months ago. Apparently we can only hope to keep it deep down for as long as possible. It's not a totally bad thing. Be glad you have the capability of feeling that deeply. Some people dont and never will be able to feel to the depth that you do.

Each person's sadness or grief in very individualized.
How it will go away or when it will go away will be based on how pro-active you become in working out the issues. Give yourself and allow yourself time for healing. If the "inside cry" begins to interfere with your everyday life to where you can not function, seek professional help.

Probably not, my dear.At least it has not for me. But what I have FINALLY learned to do after many years is to create some positive feelings for myself by getting out with people I trust, and by keeping myself occupied in various ways. Try though we may, humans cannot drink, drug, sleep, or gamble away pain ( among a few ways we try to deal with it). It just never works, and doing so may kill us. In time we must learn to face whatever it is. And in my opinion, that's where anti-depressants and a good counselor come in. Like many I have suffered numerous losses. Some can never be replaced. But these days I try to light a candle, rather than curse the darkness...like I did for way too long Peace to you, friend. Believe me, you are not alone.

No, it will never go completely away, but it will diminish with time. You do need to work on it though. When ever sad thoughts pop into your head, don't dwell on them. In stead start thinking of some good times that are not associated with the sad thought.

Well depending on what you are crying over I would say NO, it is always there, it waits until you are weakest and explodes making you more miserable then ever, it can heal but the scars are still there.

it will pass eventually, no matter the situation. you just have to keep your head high and try to move on with life, because life does go on with or without you. Look at the bright side of your life and the things around you.

It's always there, there are hurts that never leave us. And you wouldn't be human if there was never anything that way deep down still sits and waits.

sometimes you just got to go with your emotions

have a good cry on my shoulder

"there, there" i'll give you a hug

now blow your nose, and wash your face, lets see a nice big smile now,

there now does that feel better?
