I went in to see my Doctor today and she is sending me to a specialist for my right breast and has scheduled a mammogram and an ultrasound. I am only 25. Should i be very worried? Im having sharp pains in my right breast and slight discoloration and is very stiff. I also have no family history of breast cancer. Should I be very worried?

There is no point worrying yet because you don't have enough information about what is wrong. It could be cancer - it could be something else. Even if it is cancer, there are wonderful treatments available now, and many women get through it just fine. So there's no point in panicking yet. Wait until you see the specialist and find out the test results.

Life is too short to worry. Go and have the mammogram. You are not too young, and your Dr, is very sensibly taking precautions. 99% of the time there is nothing to worry about, you may just have fibroids.
