If you do the same work out routine then you will most likely not see any results. you need to have several workouts that work on the same muscle and change it off (do one workout one day and then do the other one another day). As for the push ups, start of slow (starting off with "girlie push ups" (on your knees) if you have to) it's a matter of practice. If this doesn't work than talk to a physician.

One way to develop the muscles and control to do pushups is to start doing pushups at an angle. Find a ledge or piece of solid furniture that will let you lean at around a 50 degree angle and do pushups. This will allow you to use around 1/2 the amount of power needed for regular pushups. Once you get to where you can do 35-50 pushups this way then try some regular pushups.

If they are still too difficult find a ledge or furniture that will allow you to do them at a steeper angle and work on those until you can do 50 pushups at that angle. Keep increasing the angle until you are at floor level.

ok lets see if i can explain this well. use a corner of the room and do a "push up" while standing up or you could use the wall do 15 reps of each of these while facing the wall place your hands (as you would if you were doing a push up) slightly above you head do 15 then at sholder height do 15 then slightly below your shoulders do 15. sounds easy but its not. using the wall is the harder of the 2 choices, this helps with triceps (which is why it is so hard) shoulder muscles in back and pecs, you should start to see results in the first week.
