I have been diagnosed with arthritis last month but haven't been told yet what kind it is, since i'm still going through tests. First it was in my fingers and now its very painful in knees, wrists , elbows and ankles. I have trouble doing simple things like typing and walking. I'm prescribed with Prednisone, and i've been taking them for a week but there's no benefits yet. How long after would the effects show? I'm also taking omega 3. My question is, is it possible that i become healthy and be able to run and do things like i did, or does the arthritis get worse with age? Is there anyone out there who had their symptoms gone completely? If yes, then with what?

There is no medicine for H/A, RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 90% success in treating ALL PAINS confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment FIRST TRY IT.
I treat it with our SHREE SWASTHYAYOG THERAPY, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid worry, cold foods/drinks & weather, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING.

I have arthritis through most of my body. The first occurence was when I was 17. The pain was in my left hand. Over the years, I have developed arthritis is almost every joint, including my spine. An internist put me on Celebrex for about a year. I developed abdominal pain, so I stopped taking it. I noticed that the days I would take the drug, I was in more pain than ever. When I went off the drug for a week to undergo other tests, the pain diminshed greatly. It was like weaning off the drug created more pain (almost like it was addictive).

Anyway, at this point I take no drugs for the arthritis. I try to limit my intake of red meat and refined sugars. The sugar increases the joint inflammation and therefore the pain. I take Tai Chi and Qigong classes. These disciplines teach relaxation under any physical or emotional circumstances. The QiGong oxygenates the body, builds organ, bone, and tendon strength. This is why I forget that I have arthritis; I do not feel any pain. Five years ago, I would hold onto a railing and slowly make my way up a set of stairs. Today, I will run up and down the stairs.

Never accept the dianosis that your health will deteriorate. A Western Medicine doctor will tell you just that and convince you that you need an array of drugs to get through each day. Look instead to Chinese medicine (Tai Chi, QiGong, acupuncture, herbs) to bring your body into balance and greatly reduce or eliminate the disease. If I were you, I would not plan on running for exercise. The repeated impacts damage your joints (especially your knees) and will acclerate osteoarthritis.

If you are developing knobs on your joints, it is probably a form of rheumatoid arthritis. There are over one hundred different forms of arthritis.Prednisone is a very, very, bad short term solution. While it alleviates the pain, the damage continues. Also, it increase your risk of diabetes, ulcers, high blood presure, weakening tendons, cartilage, ligaments, and pituitary failure(considered permanent). Many forms of arthritis are either FOOD allergy related or are worsened by certain foods(especially autoimmune arthritis forms). Try eliminating the 3 most common allergens, also the biggest ones for arthriis-wheat, beef, and milk. Use a rating scale to rate your symptoms,0(none) -10(worst).If your symptoms improve, go on the 4-day allergy elimination diet(skip 2 days eating the food again on the 4th day-further apart, but NOT closer together if you desire-HINT: do not eat the same item in a differnt form-i.e. wheat cookies then bread-this is still wheat), avoid multi-item dishes(i.e.-salads), rate your symptoms(HINT: the stomach is a very good indicator of what you should not eat-if you get increased pain, note if your stomach had any symptoms and avoid those foods). See an allergist for testing and treatment for food, chemical ,and inhalants. If there is no improvement, try a mix of equal parts of DMSO(99.9% liquid), peanut oil(100%),castor oil(100%) and camphor spirits(spirits of camphor-over-the-counter $3-4.00/bottle). Use only clean hands and dye-free clean rags for the mix as DMSO carries many things straight through the skin.Shake this mix well. Heat lightly if you like. Rub it into the joints twice daily. Most notice vast improvements in 2-3 days.If this does not work, try what is known as the"wet cell appliance" described by the late Edgar Cayce, America's sleeping prophet or contact the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia for this device.Take the supplements chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine as directed on the package(standardized only). Mild exercise, passive at first, then progressively more active, will help. You should regain normal or near normal function.Visit naturescorner.com, my website.

So you are 25, have been diagnosed with Arthritis but they did not tell you what type yet gave you prednisone a steroid but not any anti-inflammatory, which they usually start with. Unbelievable!

Perhaps a search for arthritis + "natural remedies" might be of interest.
