Hi, I have been on Pain Management succesfully for almost three years, but my pain doctor closed shop. I cannot find any pain doctors in central nj who will prescribe narcotics, and I desperately need them...they are the ONLY thing that works, I have multiple chronic pain conditions. I am on disability for them as well. If you know of anyone kindly contact rnrhoney at gmail.com thank you, andrea

I empathize with you because I have the same problem. You can call the local AMA in your area and find a referral to a doctor. Better yet, talk to some nurses if you can. They always know who the best doctors are for your problems.
Your local hospital may also have a referral service.
Sometimes you may have to go to a pain clinic out of state. Make sure your insurance covers it first.
Do you have a pain management advocate or coordinator?
I have one thru my insurance company. Maybe you can ask to be assigned one. They are good at getting you this info.
