I am an ectomorph, if you don't know what that is look it up, but basically the short definition is it's the "skinny person, the hard gainer, can't gain weight in fat, and gains muscle very slowly" ... now I heard that a good workout for us is a hard but short workout like heavy weights, but it shouldn't last much longer then an hour, of course depending what you do... and it also said rest periods were important.... my question is "Is resting every other day enough?" ... I was going to do bench press, upright rows, and curls one day.. and the next day squats, toe raises (with weights), and leg curls and extensions.; upper body one day, lower body the next, and continue .. and take one day a week for just resting. Is that good?

I'm losing my mind here! lol :-)

Well, I also have a 10 month old baby who still sometimes gets up at night, so it's been over a year since I've had a total night's worth of sleep. My husband's snoring is really unbelievable, I mean, the sound makes the mattress vibrate, oh gosh, I'm so tired and so sleepy and don't know what to do anymore, any tips?

the last couple of months i have noticed that any cuts i get heal very slowly and are leaving a lot worse scar than they used to.

before my scars would fade away in a few weeks (off minor cuts), but they all seem to be staying there and looking as if they have been freshly picked.

I dont scratch them or pick them so what is going on?

I've had cold sores before, at least a few times in the past years, maybe around 3-5 times.. I have never been sexually active in any way, I am 18 by the way.
I hate how I get that look from some people. I hate having cold sores, does it mean that I will have herpes/ genital herpes in the future?

Hey, I'm a 16 year old boy but I'm, hmm...quite skinny. My arms & wrists and abdomen in particular are skinny. I wanted to beef up and wanted to know what I could do? I do eat quite a bit, I think I have a fast metabolism rate but what I mean is how generally what foods/methods would you recommend to get bigger? Thanks!!

I've heard of OLD WIVE'S TALES, but these two answers took the blue ribbon! I'm 30, a non-smoker(as if THAT has ANYTHING to do with your bones, spinal column or discs!) am muscular and not the LEAST BIT, not ONE ONCE OVERWEIGHT! I weigh 205, wear a size 17 1/2 shirt,my waist line is 33-34 inches, I split my tee shirts's sleeves if I'm not careful, so I think to be on the safe side, I'll go with a SCHOOL OF MEDICINE'S ANSWER and use the SPIRAL TENSION to help decompress my discs. The disease IS hereditary! Mine's progressed to nerve damage so I had to stop benching 300 lbs. That would SMART some to drop on my neck or chest. I've been a PROFESSIONAL BODYGUARD, so NO BAD HABITS, not even a DRINK!

In a few weeks I am going to be going in for an MRI for my knees. I have had pain and swelling in my knees for over 4 years now. I played soccer all through high school and now that i'm in college my physical activity has slowed a little. However my campus is HUGE and i walk probably 5 miles every day back and forth b/w classes and my dorm up and down stairs. are there any suggestions on what I should do prior to my MRI to help with the pain and swelling. I've tried everything for them, even quitting soccer for a year now sadly. Also what sorta of things are supposed to be done prior to an MRI (its in the afternoon)?? The doctors think something might be wrong with the tendons or ligaments and that I might need Physical Therapy.

when do we stop being in our prime in terms of physical ability?
can you (if your body is in top shape) do the same things (sporting performance) in you early - mid. 30's that you could do in your 20's?
is 32 (age) classed as young? and are you still in your prime?

I am not married and still virgin. Some times i use to masterbrate 2 or 3 times in a month. As normal i had private hairs right under there. Since 6 months i have noted that the hairs are growing also on my penis. I remember once i cut them off when there were only 2 haris but not shaved with razor. Initially they were a few in numbers but now i have nearly100 hairs on my penis. They are all under side of the penis or on sides of the penis. I am very worried if they can be harmful for my partner? Please tell me if i can shave them?

How do you know if you have it?

Is it when your words get switched? say I meant fab tab but said fab fab.

But sometimes my words get mixed up. Once I said I had nose in my water and I meant I have water in my nose.

It funny but in a way its not.

Personally I feel that stem cell research is good. We need to find ways to cure diseases and not just treat them. I feel that stem cell research is not destroying a human life because it doesn't have a conscience. It is not wrong. My Fiance's father and has Parkinson's Disease and her grandfather died from complications of that disease. I am with Michael J Fox all the way to finding a cure. I want to know everyone elses opinion out there about Stem Cell Research.

This is not a fashion question. This is about staying safely warm when outside in harsh winter conditions for extended peroids of time. Coveralls are really warm on bitter cold days. But sometimes one pair doesn't quite seem like enough. I'm wondering if its comfortable and practical to wear two or more pairs of full-coverage, insulated coveralls (like the kind Dickies or walls Make)?
