The Bicycle exercise is the best move to target the rectus abdominis (i.e., the 'six pack') and the obliques (the waist), according to a study done by the American Council on Exercise. To do this exercise correctly:
1. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head.
2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck.
3. Straight the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee.
4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee.
5. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps.

One illustration is leg lifts: lay to your again along with your legs in combination; carry your legs approximately 6 inches off the bottom for a one million depend; open your legs for a two depend however hold them approximately the identical distance off the bottom; carry the legs again in combination for a three depend; then carry them again to the ground for a four depend. It's major to hold your reduce again flat in opposition to the ground and to hold your toes not more than approximately 6 inches off the bottom. You'll think it on your reduce abs. By "abs" I assume you mean all the muscles in your midsection. Any exercise that targets the midsection will work abs. Aside from sit-ups and crunches you can do:
1. Lay on your back with your legs straight out. Lift your legs up as high as you can keeping them as straight as possible, then down again. Do several reps without touching the floor in between.
2. Lay the same way and lift your legs up off the floor a few inches and hold. Start with 10 seconds or so and increase as you get stronger.
3. Sit on the floor and lean back slightly on your hands with legs out straight. Lift legs a few inches and pull them in to your chest, then out straight without touching the floor in between reps. Try no hands or leaning to the sides for a total ab workout.

I would start jogging first to gain the flexibilty your going to need in what is about to come. Its hard getting abs right away, after that do a lot of swimming, then work on your abs, use the ball, to do crunches

Lay down in the same position for doing crunches, but instead, put your arms up, and reach up bringing your shoulders and upper back off of the ground. Do a frew sets of those to work your lower abs.

I good exercise is laying on your back, hands down on the ground, put your legs up in the air so you are at a 90 degree angle. Keeping your legs straight, drop them to the floor slowly. Once you move a couple inches, stop and hold, then continue down, and stop and hold...continue like that.

there are no lower abdominals.
you can not isolate part of a muscle. muscles either contract as a whole or they do not contract at all. this is why it's physiologically impossible to isolate part of a muscle.
to "see" the lower portion of the rectus abdominis with out flexing you need to have low body fat and that comes from making changes to the diet and increasing the resting metabolic rate.

Reverse crunches are amazing. Look them up on google. BAsically you get ready to do a crunch only move your legs and butt instead of your upper body and head. Like I said look up revers crunches on google if you don't get what I mean. Also you could try googling lower ab excercises :) oh yeah and side to side crunches.
