Hello I am CNA in the Chicago suburbs. I cannot find a job. I applied online to several places and noone EVER calls back. I have been doing this for 9 months with no luck. I even apply for caregiver position which requires no certification but noone calls me to schedule an interview. I have a good resume and excellent grades in my healthcare class and this is reflected in my resume. Please someone tell me why I can get no work. Many thanks.

It's been 2 years since my stem cell transplant and I still don't feel right. I know I'll never be like I was before cancer, but I still get alot of achiness and soreness in my body and alot of fatigue. In addition , I'll probably be on meds for the rest of my life. I have been out of work since I first had cancer which was about 3 and a half years ago, I had a recurrence, and then the transplant. It feels like I will never get back to working or leading a normal life. It is also very difficult being a younger person(28) and not really being able to find any type of support groups for people my age. In addition I have to see stuff on T.V. all the time about people who recover and run hundred mile marathons, meanwhile I'm still not back to work. It can seem sometimes like society doesn't want to deal with the fact that that type of stuff is uncommon. It's also extremely hard to go from constant Dr. care to appts. every 6 months or so. Any input you guys have is appreciated.

so i don't have any desire to have sex, which is very frustrating to my boyfriend and me as well. this has been going on for about a year now. i tried mentioning it to the doctor and he seemed as if this is odd... made me feel stupid. i came off anti-depressants to see if that might help the sex drive but i need to go back on the pills. could my birth control (ortho tricyclen) be causing this? should i try going off my bc pills since there is really no point in being on them anyway! thanks

I'm determined to get back on track with my toning and whatnot - but exercises like crunches & situps hurt my tailbone which is shocking with as much padding as I've got ...lol... but seriously - what other exercises are effective at strengthening my core?

Also, what toning exercises have you done for any part of the body that showed results quickly?

Going to a gym is out due to time and (mostly) money, so at home exercises are preferred.

I have relative who swears by 'snake pills.' Basically it's snake venom that's taken orally. It's supossedly a cure all to aches and pains. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or tried it. Thanks!

i have to go to have an ingrown toenail removed tomorrow, i am 14 and bricking it!!! I think just partial removal not total nail removal. I have heard when the local anesthetic is being injected it is extremely painful?? Is this so..?

i've just got the contraceptive injection, i have had it before but only 6 months but didn't continue because i was busy moving 6 hours away from home and trying to sort out a job and college (and well being honest a lack of a sex life helped!) i've had difficulty finding anybody i know who has taken it. I'm not too concerned about becoming pregnant, i use the injection as more of a safety net while using condoms. But what i'm getting at, is if there anyone who's had a bad physical or mental effective?

I'm pretty sure I have depression in fact I know it, but what's the use of going to a doctor and getting drugs if they're only going to make me "numb" like people say? is it actually worth it? I've been living in a shithole for so many years it feels like I'll never get out- but if drugs are the answer, I'll take them in a heartbeat.

I just had my gallbladder removed last week and i just got my biopsy results today on my gallbladder they said i had cholecystitis.Im trying to do some research on this so far what i have read is that people with cholecystitis have gallstones. Three months ago I was check for gallstones with a ultrasound and that came up normal. Well last week when i went to the er they did a hida scan which showed only 2 percent of my gallbladder function. My question is how did i get cholecystits if i didnt have no gallstones???? I will ask my dr next week about this when i see him. Any info would be nice thank you!!
